I was driving by , going somewhere else when I saw that they were open. I gave it a chance. WOW they are very good on presenting fine food. Their beef is top quality. I was to full for desert but the list was impressive an not the standard fare. The lobster bisque soup was worth having.

One of the best places for consistently good food. Bunn steak, chopped steak, scallops, oysters, while catfish, baked potato with chives cheese & 1000 island dressing are our favorites!

My dad and sister and I went to this place for dinner while on vacation. The food was absolutely fabulous, the steak was done perfectly and the lobster was fresh and delicious. My dad had chicken alfredo and loved it. We all had a dinner roll, which I do not usually care for but they were the softest and freshest... More

Fritz's Wagon Wheel has been a Springfield tradition for many years. It has good steaks and a full bar. There is plenty to choose from the menu. The wait staff is very friendly and there was no wait time, though reservations may be need for the week end. A good place for dinner.

Wanting a quality, above average dining date with my love and Fritz's has come through for us. 1st time for my wife and she was delighted. Josh, our Waiter was very good, attentive & timely to our table. The food excellent; the Chef should be proud. Start to finish, the experience of dining out was a pleasing experience. Go to... More

Fritz's Restaurant has a diverse, reasonably priced menu. Last evening I had a filet--cooked perfectly--with shrimp. This was the evening special for $18.95. Fritz's steaks have always been excellent, their chive cheese sauce for the baked potato is beyond good, liver and onions, seafood, and pasta are also very good. Crowd tends to be older and eat earlier---reservations can help.... More

This was my third trip to Fritz's and I was disappointed in the quality of the food. The first two times we were all happy with our meals but this time, 3 of the 9 dishes were not very good. Salads, burgers and the fried chicken were excellent but the ribeye special and the BBQ ribs were both very fatty... More

A lot to like here: the honey butter for the bread, the steaks, the homemade soups and sauces, the friendly wait staff. This place is the epitome of local comfort food.

This is one of only a couple or the original back-in-the-day supper clubs remaining in Springfield. Worth a visit for that experience alone, but the food is exceptionally tasty. Highly recommend their pan-fried chicken with REAL mashed potatoes and pan gray. YUM!! Atmosphere includes linen napkins and tablecloths and their awesome, personable wait staff are an added bonus. We visit... More

Great place for Steak and Lobster. This is a very long standing local restaurant which has been around for years. Besides the Lobster which is excellent, the homemade rolls and honey butter are to die for, the homemade French dressing on the salad, and the Chive Cheese Baked Potatoes.
