My family of 4 dined here for breakfast after hearing about this place from Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. What a neat place!! I had the breakfast horseshoe, which was SO good. The pancakes are huge and delicious. We had great service... friendly and quick. Everyone loved their food, and the prices are very good! Our bill for the 4... More

This place has classic diner feel. Great food and a great price. It was a little busy, but worth the hustle and bussle. We had the horseshoe and the walleye/catfish and it was amazing! The kids really enjoyed this place.

Went for breakfast here. It was delicious. One of my dining companions got the giant pancake, It was served on a pizza pan! I was surprised it wasn't super crowded, but it was a week day. Service was good and food was too.

This cafe, tucked away in a former airplane hanger, is a throwback to the 1950's. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is basic, delicious, American mainstays.

This little diner is in a quonset hut and has 50's/60's memorabilia all over the inside. They are known for their pancakes and have been on The Food Network with Guy Fieri. I had the fried walleye served with onion, rye bread and tartar sauce. It was delicious! Another person at my table had the fried catfish and said it... More

From the time we arrived at this little out-of-the-way Quonset hut until the time we left we had nothing but smiles on our faces! While waiting, our fellow customers, many of them locals and regulars, happily engaged us and led us through the entire experience as they saw we should experience it. And they were right! We sat at the... More

Not only are the pancakes huge, but they are really tasty too. Full breakfast and lunch menu including chicken fried steak. Lunch came with potatoes, green beans, and fruit salad.

When you drive up to this place on the backside of what I believe is either an airfield or industrial park, you will wonder if you found the right place. If you are looking at a very odd shaped building circa WWII, you've found it. We searched it out after seeing it featured on Triple D. The inside is a... More

A diner with records, signs, posters and neon! Waitstaff was great, coffee mug stayed full, friendly chit chat, quick service but you don't feel pressured to eat and run. Portions are huge and flavorful. Loved the biscuits and gravy and my son couldn't finish the pancake (16").

When you pull up, you think, " How can this be any good?" But don't drive away! Once you walk through the door you are transported back to a 1950's style diner. Food is good and staff is friendly. Although there were only a few empty tables, we didn't wait long for our food.

Thank DianeJH
