This was an affordable place to eat which is rare in Iceland! I enjoyed a clearly home made burger and really great friendly service.

Service was good. Food was good. Was quite busy with people pulling off the road and the prices were reasonable.
This place looked unappealing but we were just checking it out to compare it to the restaurant at Hotel Hella where we were staying. The first thing I noticed was they served horse meat. No thanks. While I'm not a vegetarian I just can't stomach...More
Terrible food, expensive menu (even by Icelandic standards), and extremely shabby & dated interior to top it off. My husband had a chicken burger, straight out of the freezer and I had a margarita pizza, incredibly doughy. There may not be a plethora of places...More
Unfortunately this restaurant proved to be the wrong choice on our way back to the capital from South Iceland. The prices are RELATIVELY low but two of the three dishes we ordered were very poor quality, and we aren't fussy eaters.
We came here twice for a quick lunch / dinner here during our stay in Hella. This is an unpretentious place, serving reasonable quality food, for reasonable prices, with decent service.
Pretty dull food at a pretty high price, even for Iceland. There's a shop marked "chemists" or some variation on Apotheke nearby that offers much nicer food.
This place doesn't really excel in any way. It's not especially; fast, good, inexpensive. That, in my opinion, leaves you with an average restaurant and experience.
