ENE is mediocre at best. 60-70 dollars per person at a place maybe a rung above an Applebee's. The dishes all tasted of one and only one liquid. The octopus carpaccio seemed to be nothing more than vinegar. The oysters might have been pleased to be swimming once more in a briny, insipid soup, but no one at the table... More

i rarely eat food that is innovative and satisfying. My meal rose above just being cool and actually struck me as authentic and fulfilling. This is my secret date weapon, "oh you've never heard about this place? i'm about to blow your mind"

We have been here a few times in the past but probably not for a year or so. I did not realize they had a new menu when we made our reservation, but was pleasantly surprised. We started with a couple of the specials --small plates -- the bluefish pate was very good with some small rice crackers and some... More

Interesting and creative food and drink offerings. Very good service. Small, intimate setting. Variety of flavors and small plates made for a great sharing/dining experience.

When my co-worker and I first started to look at the menu we were a bit hesitant. There are only small plates and not that many choices. Each small plate also had very unique ingredients in surprising combinations. So, we decided to just go with the 5-plate sampler for each of us after confirming that all of the "main" ingredients... Nine small but flavorful delectable courses. One of the best bargains in fine dining in greater Boston. Every morsel is perfect, achieving the sensory delight the chef intended. For a nine course meal, it goes by really fast (like an hour) and your come away satisfied but not stuffed. Truly one of the best meals I have had in Boston.

Asian tapas? Unbelievably good. Great mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian fare. Excellent food all around - well priced wine, fantastic salads, great noodle dishes, and all at a price that you can try them all.

We ate here with another couple and were impressed by the effort made to create interesting cocktails and a menu that is exquisite. I don't remember being disappointed by anything. A note, however, if you are not an adventuresome diner, don't come here because it would be wasted on you. Each dish is carefully prepared and served; the room is... More

This is amazingly creative and delicious food. The kids loved the crispy pork belly sandwich and the scallion pancakes stuffed with Kung Pao chicken. The parents each tried the five course chef specials for $35, one vegetarian. Every dish was excellent and unlike anything we has eaten before. The portions seem deceptively small but fill you up. Would gladly go... More

One-of-a-kind, creative and delicious. And don't scrimp on the equally creative cocktails. Fairly pork-o-centric, but there are vegetarian options
