The presentation lacks the artistry we usually see in Boston-area sushi restaurants, however we have eaten here a number of times and have never had concerns about freshness or safety. The staff are VERY friendly. It's a small, quiet dining area and a nice oasis from the more trendy, and more noisy, Cambridge spots.

Plain decor and about 10-12 seats did not look promising. A plastic coated menu where you circle what you want with a dry-erase marker...I did not have high hopes despite a stellar recommendation. Wow Lobster sushi that was flavorful with just a hint of after burn. Vegetarian sushi with that were crisp and seasoned. Did I mention that they have... More

It may be a small place with no frills, but this is consistently the best sushi around. The rice is always great, and the fish is a great temperature. The cost is nothing crazy for the size of the portions, and the Maki combo is great for $10.

We loved it here, small, cozy, welcoming place. Sushi rolls were so so fresh, miso soup very tasty, i also had the chicken sweet and sour with salad and rice and it was excellent too, with the slices of orange to compliment the spice. Highly recommendable!

Miso soup and 18 pcs of sushi for $10. Sushi was fresh and there is a good size menu. Limited seating about 6 tables. Most people seemed to take out but we ate in. No public bathroom. Very nice, would definitely go back.

Yes, it looks like your standard take out place but you need to look deeper. They do fish just as good if not better than surrounding nicer places and they do it on the cheep. The pieces of sashimi and nigiri are irrationally large, you can get a good meal ordering a special for about 10 bucks that is 2... More

Messy room, indifferent service, and utterly awful food. If you're near Harvard Law or Porter Square with a sushi craving, there are several better places (Tamarind Kitchen almost across the street from SF now has a fresh-made sushi bar; heck the sushi counter at Shaw's is better). My daughter and I ordered several items. We nibbled a few, and tossed... More

This is our go to sushi place. We love the variety of maki. The sushi is incredibly fresh... we normally pick up the order to eat at home and learned that we have to ask for the order to be ready at specified time because they make it from scratch faster than we can get over to Porter Square!

I get wary of "fusion" cuisine but this sushi place is awesome and prices are affordable too. Try the spicy salmon and the salmon & mango- delicious!

The current location is relatively new and still unknown – though there are several other more established locations in the greater Boston area. The sushi was surprisingly good and the prices were reasonable. You can choose between regular, brown and multigrain rice. The service was quick and efficient. No restrooms. Kitchen is open so you can see it while the... More
