We loved our brunch here -- after waiting for a place (allow time). Everything was carefully prepared and excellent quality. Their vegetable hash is fabulous. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Brunch Saturdays and Sundays but no lunch in general.

I had a business meeting in Cambridge recently and was looking for a place to grab dinner. Ordered the chicken and broccoli pasta dish and I have to say that it was one of the best pasta dinners I have had all year. Wine selection was short but well thought out... The pizza looked very good also...

This is a simple place with few options for snacks and coffee. It is a bit rough and unkept which makes it look sort of warm for some! Staff is definitively the best in this place, so I guess it is worth having a cup of coffee there!

I had the quinoa bowl and my co-worker got the sausage and chard pasta. They were both excellent. Portions were big but not ridiculous. The quinoa felt wholesome but delicious, best I've ever had! The place was full with some waiting. Great for a couple, it is a small dinning room.

I've had three amazing meals here: 2 anniversaries and a birthday and have never been disappointed. The pasta is always fresh and delicious, the service is terrific, the wine is right-priced and the dining room is cozy and clean.

We had a lovely brunch here on a Saturday morning with friends. I had the biscuits and gravy, which apparently they are known for, and my husband had the 'Verde' (spinach and pesto eggs). Both were excellent. Best of all, however was the iced coffee. My husband is very particular about good iced coffee, and this place met the standard!... More

Best brunch I think I've ever had. City Girl Cafe is a lovely tiny spot in Cambridge. Be prepared to wait, I think there are only about 8 tables. The decor is so nice and cozy and everything on the menu looked delicious. Try the goat cheese, bacon & caramelized onion egg sandwich made on a baguette.

Fantastic little spot in Cambridge, Inman Square. Started with a lovely Cava, and also ordered the Antipasto and the Polpetta Pizza. The pizza here is amazing. Beautiful ingredients, great sauce (not too sweet) and a nice crispy crust. Looking forward to being a frequent guest.

If I owned a restaurant, it would look and taste like this. It's a great neighborhood spot with lots of treasure on the walls. The menu is strictly pasta and pizza, it all looks amazing, and they don't skimp on the portions. We also had a really fun Spanish wine. The place is so small that there is no where... More

It's always a challenge to figure out where to eat on the way to a performance at Sanders Theater. Here's a good option in Inman Square, next to Ryle's. There's a parking lot right across the street (behind Ole, on Springfield Street, so a quick in-and-out is no problem. City Girl is small and homey, extremely pleasant, and has excellent... More
