Lizzy's is a great place to stop for ice cream if in the Harvard Sq. area. It's tucked between Cambridge 1 and Starbucks on Church St. It's a small shop but don't let that fool you. They have a ton of great ice cream flavors along w/ frozen yogurt, sorbet, sherbet and other treats. It's a must if you are... More

After eating at Border Cafe we had ice cream here at Lizzy's. What I really liked was they serve fabulous ice cream and the ice cream is available in mini cones.

On a warm, muggy afternoon, we crowded into Lizzy's and ordered three of the variations on coffee ice cream. To me, coffee ice cream is the acid test of an ice cream store, and Lizzy's passed with flying colors. It was creamy, richly flavored, and carried a pleasant aftertaste. Did I mention it was richly flavored? Highly recommended.

The place is tucked away on Church Street, right next to Starbucks (boo for a chain). Place had at least 30 flavors, and several sizes of servings (for each appetite, including toddlers). There's a chart for different allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, soy, dairy). So don't bother unless you like fruit sorbet. No chocolate orgy, so we had mocha chip/espresso. Steep... More

Small ice cream store, but delicious variety of ice creams, yogurts & sherbets. Good selection of sizes for every appetite.

Lizzy's has fantastic original flavors. I needed ice cream in bulk for a Sunday afternoon birthday party. I came by on Saturday and picked sixteen (!) quarts, including twelve different flavors. They put them aside for me so I could pick them up the next morning, along with two quarts of hot fudge. While they don't open until noon, the... More

This ice cream is high quality, inventive and tasty flavors. Sometimes the people who work there are less than friendly, we all have bad days but this happens pretty consistently.

It's okay. It is wedged between Starbucks and a pizza restaurant...very cute. I tried their ice cream but prefer JP LIcks down Mass Ave as you walk toward Central Square.

Lizzy's is tucked away in a small space across from the Border Café, just a couple of blocks from Harvard Square. But it's worth searching for, as the ice cream is excellent and reasonably priced. There's not a lot of seating there - just a couple of stools inside and very limited space outside. But if you want to get... More
