What's the name of that great french bakery in Cary Town? Can Can?? NOPE! It's Jean-Jacques! The restaurant is empty so you can always find a seat. Their display case is full of stale baked goods, so you have your pick of anything you could want! Best part is you don't have to worry about having mindless chit chat with... More

We stopped here after lunch and picked up a few baked treats to take home. They had a nice selection of pastries, cookies, and bread. The service was good and prices were fair.

You'd expect a French bakery's croissants to be fresh, flaky, and buttery! Not here. We ordered 6 for a breakfast for friends. The were stale and dry! Next time, we'll go across town to Whisk!

We stopped by this bakery for lunch - so good! Grilled cheese on your choice of bread plus delicious tomato soup. Check it out!

Purchased an Easter cake, assorted rolls, French bread and several pastries in order to try " everything". A chocolate filled croissant was so stale dry and chewed it almost pulled a cap off my tooth. An apple Danish was dry and hard and the filling tasted overly sweet like canned pie filling, the Easter cake was supposed to be a... More

Stopped here while visiting Carytown. Quaint shop. Pastries were good. Didnt eat anything else as we had already eaten at Greek on Cary. Staff was not real friendly. But pastries are good so will overlook that.

I dislike giving negative reviews but I like helping others. So here goes. Visited for the first time recently. The pastry case was a feast for the eyes. There were so many different varieties of pastries that I wondered about turnover and almost asked what they did with the goods when they were no longer fresh. The answer is: they... More

My friend and I took advantage of this restaurant/bakery's Groupon offering just to check the place out during lunch. I got the chicken salad on croissant and the pumpkin bisque soup. My friend got the grilled chicken salad and tomato soup. The chicken was dry and stringy on the salad and the chicken salad was just okay. The tomato soup... More
