Everyone raves about the BBQ here and it is good but the real stars are the side dishes. Beer batter onion rings are excellent and the fried okra is delicious even if you don't usually like okra! The potato salad is a nice surprise and the cinnamon bourbon apples has a great taste. On the weird side was an overly... More

We went here for dinner with a large group. My daughter, again, recommend this restaurant. We had a variety of different orders and no one complained. The prices are reasonable and the food very good.

Our multigenerational party enjoyed the beer and BBQ in a casual atmosphere. Ribs, sandwiches and brews were well received by our 87 year old, recent graduate and young family of 3, as well as a trio of seniors and trio of millennial.

We stopped on our long drive home from spring break with our kids. No line, not crowded mid afternoon. We were at the Boulevard location, short jaunt off 95. We had ribs and sides. Kids loves the hushpuppies, fried pickles and the ribs. The ribs were delicious and I like the carolina style BBQ sauce. I had a side of... More

Visited the Broad Street location because it seemed to get very good reviews. The Internet was once again right. You order your food at the counter when you come in and it quickly comes out to your table. I got the sliders (a small set of 3), one each of BBQ chicken, brisket, and pork. Each was delicious and I'm... More

Tastes like you are in your Uncle's backyard. Best babyback ribs, best baked beans and slaw. May take a bit to get your food, but they are always working on improving the service. Certainly worth the wait. Have enjoyed eating there for years. Husband always enjoys their sandwiches. Sides are always on point.

Tasha took our order and gave us great service. The food was top notch. Took about 30 mins to get our food. But it was worth the wait. The ribs were top notch.

This is a must for anyone visiting Richmond. Highly recommend the spare ribs, very meaty and flavorful.

Description
While Buz has been dishing real barbecue in Richmond since 1992, our first brick-and-mortar location on Boulevard opened in 1995. We've also had the honor and privilege of being featured on some of television's top food shows. We are thankful to our loyal fan base that keeps coming back year-after-year. We opened our Broad St. location in 2012 and we look forward to bringing the same barbecue tradition to the West End.
