Lemaire is still one of the best (if not the best) restaurants in the greater Richmond area. I have had the luxury to dine and some of the world's top restuarants and for any special occasion, Lemaire is my first choice!

The atmosphere and service is superb. The experience is one you'll want to repeat. My Husband and I were celebrating my birthday for dinner once. I've been there for brunch also. They have a fabulous Christmas brunch everyone will love.

Excellent restaurant with impeccable service in a very elegant surroundings. Food is good enough for "foodies" with a very good veriety. You can go for main course or smaller dishes and both will be delightful. The wine selection is very good as far as quality...More

The food is actually quite nice, but you show up to the front and the attendant tells you to seat yourself. The tables are dirty and when I politely (!) asked for them to be bussed the staff repeated my request to each other before...More

We enjoyed wine and appetizers in the bar area of the Jefferson Hotel. A very pleasant experience. Suggest a walk through the main level of this historic property.

Walking into the Jefferson is always a treat, but paired with Lemaire is beyond perfection. From the almond garlic soup, to the freshly made bread with sourgham butter to the swordfish and sea scallops, it was a treat for the senses. Richmond has so many...More

We celebrated my mother's 90th birthday here. We could not have made a better choice in Richmond. We were all treated like royalty. Everything was delicious, from the fried oysters, scallops, fish, salads, and wine to the gorgeous cake I ordered in advance for the...More

Beautiful surroundings. Interesting menu made it hard to decide what to order. Service was friendly and impeccable and the food, from first course to dessert was all perfection.

We were in business casual attire. Some were in suits, but we felt very comfortable in dress pants and dress shirt, but no jacket or tie. Hope that helps!

Looking for a special 50th anniversary dinner place for my wife and I. A nice private setting, would this fit my wishes?

I think they could do it very well. BUT ask them what else is going on at the Restaurant/hotel at the same. We were there at the same time as the University of Richmond ring exchange dance. Lots of rather noisy college... More
