In town for a bb tournament and wanted to try something local. Picked it out after a quick scan of TA Ratings List. I am so happy that I picked Croaker's. After speaking with a regular sitting next to me, I ordered the Fish Boat. The waitress suggested getting only a two piece since they give you an extra piece... More

I have eaten at the Croaker Spot 4 times. I've enjoyed my meal tremendously you can not eat all of your food they give you such a huge portion. That's ok get a container take the rest home it will still be delicious reheated . The staff is so friendly and professional. The atmosphere is laid back but classy. Sometimes... More

Finest fried seafood in all of Richmond! Served by an infectiously nice staff who really loves what they do and the food they serve. And you get an extra piece of fish....so a 2 piece is really a 3 piece, and the fillets are very large whiting. Really well prepared.

Went during Black Restaurant Week and had an awesome meal. Hefty portions, great service and nice ambiance while a live band played. Will definitely go back. It was busy but worth the wait. The owners even walked us to the door on the way out and thanked us for coming.

Food excellent; small venue so wait time was long even in the early afternoon. Wait time for food was long but worth it. Definitely recommended!

...but I'll try. Veggie fish bowl was huge. I can usually finish almost any plate of food. Didn't happen here. Oh my was it good. Great service. Excellent jazz. I'd bring anyone here in a heartbeat--family, kids, business associates, friends.

This place was amazing..... my husband and I came 3 hrs away for a relaxing weekend and good food (yes we are foodies lol) and this place did not let us down. The amount of food you get is enormous. The owner came out and spoke with us and he was definitely a delight.... we will be returning soon :)

My cousin and I came for early dinner on friday. There wasn't the usual wait and of course they have drink specials for $5 before 7 pm. I ordered the 2 piece fish boat. The onions and potatoes were delicious and of course the corn bread was great.

Their food is great! I like the fish boats, fried shrimp, and grilled salmon. The cabbage and mac and cheese is good too. The cornbread tasted like Grandma's Thanksgiving cornbread. Other than the wait, the food is great! Good things do come to those who wait! Perfection cannot be rushed. I do wish there was an option to order online.

Always good with delicious food. There is usually a wait to get a table. Everything is cooked fresh and it takes a while to get your food.
