We loved the decor. Plenty of memorabilia to keep us interested even in the restroom! The food was OK. We got the fish and chips. It was good, with good portion sizes. The food was lacking in seasoning, but the lemon garnish, tartar sauce, and vinegar helped a lot. Service was good and efficient.

A little taste of Britain, with curry! Good selection of beers, and upstairs has darts, pool, a small veranda, and running Christmas Lights :-) You can make a dinner from the starters, and if you're polite and well behaved you might be able to even take a drink upstairs....

The pub atmosphere works well for a pint at the bar, just don't set your expectations high for its fare. Fancy descriptions on the menu don't match the delivery of the product. Fish dry and overcooked on fish & chips, poor meat quality on Steak & Guinness pie. We ended abruptly and went elsewhere for coffee, a share dessert and... More

What a wonderful find in the capitol of the South!!! The ambiance is over the top: Beatles' memoriabilia; football (soccer for you Americans) banners, photos, and posters; low ceilings; wood walls. Big screen TV's for watching EPL matches (I watched the middle of the Leicester - Everton match). Oh, yes, there is plenty of beer on tap. The tea is... More

I can't say enough nice things about this pub! The proprietor, Terry O'Neil, is from Liverpool and brings the charm of the English pub to Richmond! Whether you are lifting a pint, having fish and chips or a Guinness steak pie you'll be transported!!

We strayed at the Hilton and asked them about restaurants in the area and they gave us a list which when I saw Penny Lane being the Beatle fan I am off we went. The food is pub food and they give you plenty of it. It's decorated with all sorts of Beatle stuff since the owner who is from... More

The curry fries are good, depending on the chef that night. The menu is pretty much standard U.K. pub fare with a good selection of beers and some American dishes to boot. I strongly recommend heading upstairs; the collection of memorabilia and photos is super cool to peruse; plus there's darts and billiards to be found.
