we had dinner at what I would think was one of the nicest places in town and it was unacceptable. Too many tables crammed together made for a very noisy experience. The manager was very uncaring as he knew we would not be coming back. (tourists) food mediocre. Not worth the hassle.

We chose to eat off the Bistro Menu which we felt was better value than the prix fixe. We were served a salad prior to the main course - the steak was cooked as requested and was good quality. Dessert was also good.

I am a very picky eater and do not eat a lot of things but I cleaned my plate at this restaurant. The Pork Medallions with an Apple Jack Cider sauce was delicious. My husband had the Meatballs and pasta which was typical, meatballs were a little spicy.

We had a romantic dinner on our first night in Woodstock. The restaurant is small but cozy. Server was great. The menu is a Pre Fixe menu which we enjoyed and we very well prepared. Nice wine list.

I have had a chance to dine at The Prince & Pauper on a couple of occasions and I have never been disappointed. The food is creative and higher end, but the setting and personal attention is well worth a stop. The pork and fish dishes are well executed and the desserts plentiful

Our table had been reserved by the host at our B and B; she had mentioned that it was my birthday so when we went in I was greeted with 'Happy Birthday'- nice touch! The meal was good. There was a prix fixe menu and a bistro menu, but one was free to choose dishes from anywhere on the menu!... More

This was a great find on a cold night! The atmosphere is cozy and private, ....service is excellent. We enjoyed delicious sole, .. wonderful sauces. The menu offers variety from lighter fare to gourmet entrees. We'd definitely return.
