I booked Casa Martin online having never visited before. I wanted a nice place to celebrate my wife's birthday with some friends. To be honest it wasn't exactly what I expected when we went in. A bit more cocktail bar with tables than a restaurant...as such. But we were seated at a comfortable table in a charming corner of the restaurant and were cheerfully and expertly looked after by owner Sergio. Between his recommendations and our own appraisal of the downloaded menu we had a lovely meal with a nice local wine. We all loved it! There were two or three possibly locals sitting at the bar and a few other couples sitting at tables around the restaurant making for a quiet relaxed atmosphere. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Casa Martin and will be back next time we drive up to Grazalema.More

Right on the main square this is a little gem. I had smoked red tuna which was delicious and tried the local payoyo cheese also good. Lovely wine and the staff were just delightful.

Where to begin? Casa Martin 1920 is a unique experience and a good one at that. This is a small but perfectly formed 'eatery' on the main square. Sergio, the owner, is absolutely wonderful. Although we were expecting a restaurant, this was not one. It...is a small and tastefully decorated delicatessen with tables. Do not be put off by this. I am highly recommending Casa Martin! A fine selection of wines, the one we had chosen by Sergio to compliment the delicacies we ordered - a rich and indulgent pate of Iberian pork, a full flavoured Morcilla and a tapas of toast smothered in locally produced cheese, squash, anchovies and pickled sardine with cornichons. These are tastebud explosions! In short, don't miss this gem. (And Sergio is pretty tasty too!)More

A stylish, pleasent and atmospheric restaurant in the middle of town offering good selections of wine and cold tapas. The local jamon and cheese were excellent. The host, Martin, was extremely helpful and assited us navigating the menu. This restaurant shows that modern and old...can happily combine.More

We had a wonderful time in Casa Martin on Christmas eve. I was traveling with 10 family members and Sergio kindly accommodated us in his fantastic tapas bar. He was super friendly, a true Andalusian, and we learned about the history of his Grandmother being...the best cook in town and passing her secret recipes to the family. We tried local cheeses, regional payoyo cheese, wonderful regional oils paired with a great selection of tapas. He made our experience in this very picturesque town in the middle of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park to be a very memorable one.More

My girlfriend and I needed olive oil late at night so I ran down to the store which had closed earlier than it was supposed to but I saw a light on at the end of the road so i went down and it was...Casa Martin. Luckliy for me Casa Martin sells (amazing) olive oil and Sergio was incredibly kind. I went back an hour or so later in search of a corkscrew, because of all the things in the world our rental apartment in Spain did not have, a corkscrew was amazingly one of those things. Sergio was again helpful and I returned home with an open wine bottle. After telling my girlfriend about this we decided to eat at Casa Martin the following night. It was incredible as Sergio was even more helpful and friendly than before in helping us with food and drink choices, all of which were amazing. If I am ever in Grazalema again I will be stopping in for a glass of wine and a chat.More

We were in Grazalema for 2 days and went twice to Casa Martin 1920. The wines are great, carefully selected and so cheap. You have to order food to accompany it, it is great! And the owner is super friendly! Amazing place to start the...night!!! 👌More

Authentic wine bar with a great selection of tapas. The service was attentive and the recommendations on cheese and wine excellent. Nice to hear the history of the casa - chuparse los dedos bien.

This was the best meal we’ve had in Grazalema which is interesting because all Of it was produced in the bar so came out of a jar or a packet but it didn’t come from a kitchen! The owner was very welcoming, enthusiastic and knowledgeable...about the local wine and food and made us feel very welcome. We had a great evening- thank you!More

There are few pleasures more pleasing than discovering a truly unique place: a place where food, wine, a sense of history and hospitality all combine to make for something special. Such a place is "Casa Martin 1920" just off the main square in Grazalema. Sergio...is the third generation of his family to provide true Andalusian hospitality in this tiny little bar. Sergio knows his stuff, and will serve you - personally - the best of the region's food, wine and culinary expertise. The region is rightly known for its exquisite cheese and meats, and the freshest and locally-produced of both are to be found here. Also, local liquors, sherries and wines are to be found. My advice: Let Sergio -and his lovely wife Maria - guide you. My husband, Alfredo, and I spent several lovely evenings here. Now, Grazalema is on our "sure to return list" as is Casa Martin 1920. -- David PerryMore
