Excellent "Italian" tapas restaurant. The menu changes according to the season, and we were fortunate to enjoy the new spring offerings. Since tapas are served, the prices are reasonable. Three of us shared 5 plates (we repeated the outstanding scallops) and 2 desserts. My husband and I joined three friends for dinner at Double Zero last night and the experience was simply stellar from beginning to end. Our server, Maya, was attentive, personable and very knowledgeable, answering our menu questions comprehensively. It is so very satisfying to try a new restaurant and find it absolutely flavorful, original, and creative. And at a decent price overall. And with excellent, personable service. We ordered a variety of the small dishes before ordering a fabulous pizza! The fried cauliflower that was unbelievable. None of us even like cauliflower but this was awesome. The meatballs were great. It seems all the small dishes are wonderful. Well priced too.

We celebrated my wife's birthday here and I must say it was beyond amazing. The food and pizzas were cooked to perfection and the waitress gets 100 points. She ensured all requests were met, was very attentive and also brought us surprises. I do suggest that you make a reservation because this place is a hot spot :)

I was not familiar with this place, but went here for a friend's birthday and was very impressed. It is in the old Ink and Elm space in Emory Village. Although listed as an Italian restaurant this is definitely not your standard Italian fayre. Menu focussed on eclectic appetizers but interesting pasta dishes and pizzas offered. We shared 4 appetizer dishes including the duck confirm,octopus,smoked brisket and broccoli, all delicious. On the pricey side but was worth the gastronomic experience. Would go back again next time in Atlanta.

The owners of Cooks and Soldiers and the Iberian Pig have opened up another delicious restaurant near Emory. A similar dining concept with small and large plates to share( or not). Our ancestors, and many others like them, made the pilgrimage from southern Italy to Ellis Island. These immigrants hit the streets of NYC with a ripe attitude and a culture deeply rooted in food. Their entrepreneurial spirit spawned many businesses as Italian-Americans infiltrated the neighborhoods surrounding Mulberry Street and much of the Lower East Side of Manhattan. This new home was rich in Neapolitan ties; however, a uniquely American identity was taking form as they embraced their status as first generation Italian-Americans.

Now generations removed from that first journey across the Atlantic, we aim to update the concept of an Italian-American restaurant. The sourcing of our ingredients, our techniques, and the design of our space is modern, but we take inspiration from the tenacity, originality, and hustle of our ancestors — and of course, their damn delicious food. We hope that those who came before us would be proud of this effort.
