This restaurant was recommended to me by several friends. It is in a strip mall near goodwill and a farmers market. Seating and restaurant is a little shabby could do with a make over BUT the food is amazing. First time we ate in and there was no atmosphere but tonight we ordered for pick up and WOW food was... I love this place and have eaten here many many times. If you love good food at good value then this is the place for you. Ignore the lower ratings of food snobs, impatient people, and novices. This restaurant has the best garlic nan ever. The halim soup is my favourite soup anywhere. Everything else is above average as well.... More

The first thing I noticed was the disgusting floor. My feet were sticking to it as I waited at the counter for my to go order. The person taking my order was nice but kept yawning and wiping his nose. The food came quick but it wasn't until I got home that they forgot one of my items, but that's... More

A little nothing place in a strip mall. I have gotten take out twice here and both time the food was very good. You can tell the difference between Indian and Bangladesh food. Not just the names of entrees. Similar but not the same. Saag Ponir was tasty and more like cream spinach than the traditional Saag Paner, I like... More

We went for lunch today at around 1-00 pm. There was buffet with variety of Bangladeshi items but less spicy considering the american taste. The buffet is adequate and tasty. We took Poalao, Rice, Nan Roti, Cabbage, Spinach, Lentil soup, Fried Eggplant, Egg, Beef and also sweetmeat which were delicious. I must have to say that all of the dishes... More

First, I'm going to say that the garlic naan was amazing. I also got chicken tikka masala, which was very good, but my only caveat on this is that if you usually order medium elsewhere, try the mild before you go for medium. It wasn't too hot for me, but hotter than I expected. We did a takeout order, and... More

Excellent food and great service. I recommend the Shrimp Poury, unique tasting appetizer with shrimp and a sauce that i could eat everyday. The portions were healthy. The restaurant does not sell alcohol but you can bring your own beverages. The bill was cheap considering everything we got. This place is nothing fancy but the food is amazing.

Great food and excellent vegetarian options. It's a steal for lunch at around $8-9 for the buffet. The tea is good not great, and it doesn't come with the buffet.

We visited Panahar Friday night. For Bangladeshi cuisine, we usually go to Purnima, which has never disappointed us, on food or service. Unfortunately Purnima was closed Friday. We have eaten at Panahar before, but that was at their lunch buffet, which was good and not exceptional. Buffet by nature excludes much of one of the most critical pieces of a... More

Unfortunately wanted some Indian food and ordered on UberEats. Ugh, i mean the rice is disgusting. Sticky, wet and they put in way too much pepper. We couldn't even finish the dish. It also looked like they just threw it in there from a buffet. Problem is, the prices were not buffet prices. Never again. Disgusting.
