My wife and I arrived beginning of May in Trevelez. We followed the tips on Tripadvisor to find a good restaurant, which brought us to this place. To start with, from the long menu only a soup and 2 meat dishes were available! One of them were chuletas de cordero, lamb chops. We ordered them and after 2 minutes a... More

We (5 couples) chose this place for lunch on the back of the Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. Good food, drinks and service served by the solitary waitress who was friendly and helpful. We all shared the Alpujarra soup for starters and then had baby goat either barbecued or with honey followed by homemade desserts - fantastic!!

We dropped in on this place on a busy Twelfth Night when everyone was out for lunch. The buzz of people talking was pleasant, and the service was both efficient and fairly patient, given that it did not seem to be a place geared up for foreigners. We shared a salad that was an extraordinary gallimaufrey of things. Then I... More

If you want to find the typical restaurant in La Alpujarra Granadina, this is your place. When we arrived, we were attended by a gentle waitress. We decided to be guided by her, and it was the best decision we could probably have done. First, we asked for a salad, and it surprised us. I can say that it was... More

My husband and I were on an excursion to the Alpajurras and stopped at Trevelez for lunch. We wanted a typical Alpajurrian type of meal and chose this restaurant. We decided to have soup to start and weren't sure what else to order so thought we would start with the soup and see how it went. All the other tables... More

Been here a couple of times now and thought it time that I should at least give this quaint watering hole a note of praise. The outside terrace had acquired 2 permanent residents since my last visit. Darby & Joan are now ensconced on two chairs to welcome your arrival (a nice touch). On this visit my wife and I... More

A really friendly woman served us with a variety of local cheeses, cold soup and jambon. It was a great lunch and felt very relaxed on the terrace.

we drove from Torremuele to Almeria and back in a day. The Trevelez jambon is fantastic. We were referred here for lunch and think I would drive back again for lunch. THE HOUSE WINE WAS GOOD AND THE PHOTOS OF THE FOOD TELL THE WHOLE STORE.

Had an Alpujarran stew which was warm, spicy and very filling. And also cheap. I was the only one in the restaurant at the time - in mid December. Can recommend it.

Hmmm, I read the only other review of this restaurant and that certainly wasn´t our experience. It was a sunny, Sunday and we walked up to this little restaurant away from the central tourist area of Trevelez. We were pleasantly greeted and seated at the last available outdoor spot. So far, so good. The restuarant appeared to be a locals... More
