We came here with friends for lunch. This family run place is ideally located on the beach at the western end of the Paseo Marítimo. It has seating outside as well as a loud cantina style indoor area. The food was amazing and extremely decently priced. We had fried pescadilla and boquerones, both cooked at perfection (not greasy, well seasoned... More

It is time I wrote a review of El Campano, as it was and will be our favourite beach restaurant in Salobrena. We have been coming here for almost 5 years, and the food is always good and the rosé wine excellent! Good value for money and always friendly service from Miguel. For us he is El Campano and we... We only popped in here for a couple of cortados, but the coffee was excellent, and the beachfront location was lovely.

Came here for coffee, it was lovely. Free tapas with any drink, the meatballs were very tasty. Good inside and outside space, right on the beach, great views. Service was good and look forward to a return trip.

The waiter who serves you whilst sat outside this recently refurbished beach bar is worth a visit, very friendly but the poor chap is on his own and is totally overworked. If you can catch his attention then you are on to a winner, the food is good, location superb and the recent refurbishment has been done well (about time).... More

When we arrived the restaurant had obviously been very busy, but a table was cleared and food served by a very pleasant waiter. The food was delicious so it is no surprise that many locals and spanish tourists have meals there. They were also very reasonably priced gambas al pil-pil, paella, 2 beers, 2 wines and a water 28.80 euros.

The long beach of Salobrena gets direct sunshine in the afternoon. This makes it a good choice for a sunny winter afternoon. The food and ambiance of El Campano makes it even better. Here you can have a very fine, fixed price, menu complete with wine, beer, or other refreshing beverage for a very reasonable price. The very customer-friendly pricing... More
