This is a popular place with locals and tourists and didn't disappoint at all. The grilled sardines and octopus were the highlights but the service also stood out - quick enough and friendly considering the place was pretty full.

We had the grilled Bonito and the Sardines and both were good but the Bonito was outstanding. Very friendly staff for two Americans with only minor Spanish skills and an English menu. I could eat here almost every day!

My family & myself visited this restaurant while on holiday in Santona. This included 2 children, 5& 2. There was a 'little ones' menu too.We all thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly, and went out of their way to help with seating with the the children. The cost of our meal was amazing. They had a set menu which... More

Visited by chance with my wife and my German Shepherd. They put the three of us in a discreet location and gave the dog a bowl of water which was very thoughtful. The service was impeccable and the food excellent. It is perhaps a little on the more expensive side but you certainly feel that you get value for money.... More

We ate here twice during a weeks stay, the food was simple, very fresh. Great to see the how they BBQ on a grand scale.Staff were great, fast and friendly. It was very busy both times and any time we passed. The menu del dial stays the same each day. This was very reasonable.

We chose the Menu of the day - 1st course - mixed salad which was huge and seafood soup which was rich and delicious. 2nd course - sardines and a lovely dish of red peppers stuffed with shrimp and mushrooms in... We went here on our last night in Spain, 4 adults 5 children. Food was amazing, most of it is cooked on a barbie outside the restaurant. Best Rabas in Spain (we were all agreed), chorizo a little disappointing. We asked (in Spanish) what the waiter could recommend and he sped off into the specialities of the house. Our Spanish... Found this place by accident after driving to Santona on a driving holiday through Spain. Attracted by the grill outside cooking fresh fish. The only Brits in the place we were made to feel very welcome (possibly because I could communicate in Spanish). My husband had sardines which looked delicious and I had langoustines which were superb. very reasonably priced... More

Perfect place to enjoy nice sardines and bonito grilled Located at the end of the harbor and next to the bullring. The grill is handled excellently. The menu is not very extendive but what they do they do it very well.
