We stayed two nights at the lodge and ate at Metate room for our last dinner. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. We would highly recommend this restaurant. You'll love the view too.

Husband and I spent two nights camping in Mesa Verde. This was our luxury night out. Spectacular view from the Metate Room. Husband had pork belly, which was very rich. I had chopped salad and lobster bisque. We both had cocktails, which were cold, refreshing,...More
Past TA reviews of this restaurant were not always kind, but we could find absolutely nothing to complain about. Since we were staying at the Far View Lodge and had tours that lasted until 6 PM, we went the easy route of booking a table...More
The food and service were very good. The food was better here than at El Tovar at the Grand Canyon. Nice view from most every table. We had to drive back to the campground after dinner. The road is challenging, probably wouldn't want to drink...More

I ate here in mid-May, 2017. My seared trout was delivered over-cooked, dry and tasteless. My wife's stuffed portobello mushroom was stuffed with what tasted like a standard spinach cheese dip, and the accompanying bean chili was inedible. There were only two good things about...More
We had high expectations of this restaurant, because we saw a rave review in a book "10 best of everything National Parks" We were very disappointed the lobster bisque was one of the best I ever had , but it went downhill from there. Steak...More
