We had appetizers there last evening. The food was delicious and the service was great. You can look out over the Canyons while relaxing with your favorite beverage. We had the Goat cheese dip and would recommend this. Prices are just a little high or I would've given them a 5 star rating. It's still a great place to eat.

It's been almost three weeks since we stayed at the Far View Lodge. Our family was eager to dine at the Far View Terrace restaurant. I had planned ahead and made reservations for both nights while staying in the park. After our first nights dinner disaster however, we cancelled and settled for the lounge. I'm sorry to say this but... More

Ran in here to grab a quick breakfast before one of our arranged tours in Mesa Verde. I played it safe and grabbed a pantry meal of yogurt and cereal. My wife and SIL had the quiche. One was hot and tasted OK (only because it had been immediately pulled from the oven), while the other was cold and tasteless.... More

Went to the Fair View Café for breakfast and was pretty disappointed. Very average food, but was confounded with the arrangement of everything. Cook could not understand English (another emp. had to tell him what I had ordered), and my eggs were nowhere near what I had ordered. Was unnecessarily spread out, with coffee located on the entire opposite end... More

Given the extremely limited dining options without exiting the park, the cafeteria offered the most choices at affordable prices. It is open at 7:00 am and offers good to-go options (slice of quiche, breakfast burrito, fruit cup) and hot entrees (oatmeal, made to order omelet, pancakes). The offered 5+ bread / carb options with all the fixin's. The only items... More

Ate here for 1 lunch & 2 breakfasts as we stayed 2 nights at Far View Lodge. For lunch we had salad & a wrap. We weren't impressed with our first breakfast, but we had to "eat & run" to get to our early morning tour of Cliff Palace. Disappointed that regulations prevented there from being butter at the toast/muffin... More

had to eat here twice because of limited options while staying in mesa verde. The only items worth eating were things with chili on them like the chili dog and the taco. The pizza and the burgers were terrible (when my teens won't finish a burger or a pizza you know it is bad). The ice cream was good and... More

This restaurant is expensive and has a beautiful view. The food was fine. Our waiter was very nice and quick.

We stopped to check it out and only got a mocha. But we did go back the next day to get shirts and post cards.

Good for quick meals. Feels quieter and roomier than Spruce Tree Terrace Cafe. Although the service and food is only average it is a nice option to have as you are so far from any towns and is convenient to pop in between your busy site seeing day.
