This place can get busy, but it's worth the wait. Amazing selection of cheeses and a selection of interesting take-out sandwiches and salads. Maybe there's a better cheese shop somewhere in the country, but I haven't found it.

Our favorite shop in town and highly recommended. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. If you are hungry and looking for a sandwich, the place to go. Their cheese and wine selection is excellent and have never been disappointed with any purchase.

But it's the vast array of cheeses from all around the world that captures the eye and gets the taste buds hyperventilating. And those cheeses... More

What I love most about the cheese shop is not so much it's lunch counter - although that is very good - but its products. They have a wonderful selection of cheeses - local as well as imported - and knowledgeable people who can tell you everything about the selections. In some cases, the employees have an opportunity to visit... More

The Cheese Shop is a must go-to place in Concord Center. The cheeses are wonderful with a variety that is wider than any other place I've ever visited. The people at the counter will let you taste any of the cheeses that you want and they are all very knowledgeable. Peter, who owns the place, is a solid Concord citizen... More

the cheese shop in concord is superbly unique, and uniquely superb in the choices of cheese, wines that go with those cheeses and so many other items, in part european imports. although we haven't been at the sandwich shop that is part of this center-of-concord place, the reputation of it is also superb.

If you want to buy cheese, fine olives, wine, or just have a great sandwich in a store that was around when Henry David Thoreau was eating cheese, fine olives, wine and great sandwiches, then don't miss the Concord Cheese Shop. Always bustling, always friendly, with a tremendous selection of wonderful cheeses and specialty foods. I've been going there regularly... More
