I've always loved Concord. It's an essential part of American history (along with nearby Lexington), and it has many interesting places to visit, including house museums and quaint shops. As a result, it always brings in lots of tourists. The Colonial Inn is a part of that history-- it goes back to the 1700s. More than just a hotel, it's... More

This is a very traditional place to have Thanksgiving. Just this year the Colonial turned 300 year old. So it was started less than 100 years after the pilgrims landed in Plymouth. Definitely a popular place, with a warren of dining rooms and waiting rooms, along with a tavern. We enjoyed it -- and the food was delicious. Actually, everything... More

The Colonial Inn in downtown Concord is a great place to stop for lunch if you are in the area. On a Saturday afternoon in November around 2:30pm it was packed. We didn't want to sit in the main dining room, which had a wait of about 1/2 hour anyways, but wanted to eat in the Village Forge Tavern in... More

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and ate here several times, lunch and dinner! We stayed in the summer, so eating on the front porch was a must!! The mussels were excellent! Service was very good, but the atmosphere takes the cake!!

We walked into the Colonial Inn for a late lunch. We were surprised to see so many people that late in the day. The hostess said it would be at least 20 minutes but suggested we go back to the bar, this was great for us. Our server was the bartender and was waiting on 6 tables plus the people... More

This hotel is just right if you want to immerse yourself in the history of Concord. It's in a great location for the central part of town and for tourist attractions like the North Bridge and Sleepy Hollow cemetery. The rooms are clean and comfortable and furnished to give off just he right amount of "olde worlde" charm. The bars... More

On the weekend of Oct 15 and 16, there were many, many visitors to this historic place, typical of mid-October every year if there's sunny weather, because the autumn foliage is beautiful ... it also seems to be the time of year where there's a high number of conventions and meetings in town (aka Boston), as well as weddings and... I love walking into the old village. The restaurant building is decorated as it would have been many years ago. We sat outside - always wonderful! good coffee! I was surprised they offered cappuccino. good food, enjoy a relaxing Sunday morning.
