Delicious tapas with a wide selection served by friendly, patient family members. For those who do not wish to wait doe the Spanish dinner hour this is perfect. Sitting on a lovely square with the locals made for an enjoyable evening.

We had lunch on a rainy day when everything was closed. We were surprised to find a great variety of little dishes (if you are realllyyy hungry, this is not the place for you) with exquisite home made food. Local food is prepared with care and divine presentation. We just LOVED this place

Chose this place by chance as it was quiet, but got busy very quickly. Good choice of tapas at excellent prices. Friendly service. Nice looking restaurant seating inside if watching the world is not your thing.

After wandering around Begur, finally decided on this place for tapas. My boyfriend and I weren't too sure at first, purely on appearance. We sat outside and were given menus which had plenty of options! We both chose three each and shared all six which was plenty of food plus some extra bread for dipping in the spicy sauce which... We chose two of the "platos" each, all delicious. Quick friendly service and reasonable price. Lovely place to sit outside.

After a week in Costa Brava, one can get tired of the many tapas places on the coast. 99% of the places serve the exact same menu of calamari, potatoes in spicy sauce and croquettes. El Farolillo has those on the menu, to be sure, but it has a much richer selection of meats, fish and veggie dishes, all for... More

Situated just of the main square in Begur. Lovely place to enjoy various tapas dishes and wine. Very friendly staff. If you preferred to eat inside they have a beautiful decorated dining room.

We hit Begur in the middle of siesta and the town was very quiet. El Farolillo is tucked away in the corner of a small square. We sat outside on one of the tables. I had the prawns and my partner wanted some cake. The waitress seemed very uninterested in either explaining the menu or making any recommendations. Very unfriendly... More

Great place with an outside terrace and an inside saloon. dishes cost 4.5€ each. Food is good and enough quantity. Typical Spanish-Catalan tapas (bravas, meatballs, serran ham). I recommend this place for a quick lunch.
