I was at one of the local breweries checking TA for a place to eat. The bartender ask what I was looking for. I said authentic Mexican. Right away he said hands down this was the best in town and only locals know about it. He was right. Service, food, everything was excellent. I couldn't believe how fast the food... More

Food is great. The serve several different sauces to try from green to habanero. Located in a little strip mall next to 7-11, it s atmosphere is quaint and real. Try the burritos or tortas or even the fish tacos.

I'd made a comment on Facebook about how my small town needs a good mexican restaurant. People posted many comments suggesting restaurants locally but outside of my town. Cafe Bueno was one that came up in the feed as an excellent place for mexican food, so, my husband and I set out to try it. Cafe Bueno is located in... More

This small restaurant in a small strip mall shopping center, is way more than it looks! We usually call in our order & pick it up and they are prompt an accurate. The staff work hard & fast to complete orders and take care of customers who eat there too. You get a lot of food for your money &... More

Just had breakfast at Cafe Bueno, Or maybe it was lunch?? I had skipped eating earlier today, so when we arrived as they were opening at 11:00 it was a pleasant reminder to notice that they serve breakfast all day. There is a nice selection of breakfast platters, all at reasonable prices. This was not my first time to eat... More

There was a rave about this place from people around town. Unfortunately, I don't agree, with the "Authentic Mexican food" claim they have. Pros: the food was filling, tasty, and of good sized portions. Their to go lunch menu looks to be a great value for $4.99. Cons: it tastes more like Tex-Mex than "authentic" Mexican food. I had the... More

Not bad, not outstanding. Is a popular place for a lunch or early dinner. Service is fast and the place is busy. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall, a hole in the wall place. The cooks are Spanish speaking, if that means authentic, and the menu items are in English and Spanish. There are three sauces in... More

This place has AMAZING authentic Mexican food. Prices are reasonable and you get a ton of food. And it's delicious. The service was pretty good too. Only complaint was that the salsa is in squeeze bottles on the table and chips and salsa got messy fast. Onions and tomatoes would also get stuck in the spout. BUT we asked for... More

Delicious homemade chips, salsa, and queso. All 6 of us enjoyed our meals. Great food, and nice presentation. We enjoyed the wide variety of flavors of Mexican soda- Strawberry, grapefruit, mango, green apple, etc. The restaurant was very busy at 7pm on a Tuesday night. The waitstaff were patient, hard working and attentive. The only drawback is the seating is... More

We all liked our food at Cafe Bueno! Shrimp fajitas were very good, the 3 or 4 salsas are spicy & flavorful and DH liked his beef & chorizo burrito. No booze here! Sodas only. The location is a bit shady - liquor store, 7-11 and a laundromat in the same strip mall. You have to get a key for... More

Description
Cafe Bueno is located at the intersection of East and 5th Streets. We are located in the same center as 7-11, about 3 blocks north of Shab Row. There is plenty of free parking in our large front lot.Cafe Bueno serves authentic Mexican food, and yes, we are the real deal! We have ten different kinds of tacos! A few highlights are our hand-breaded fish tacos, topped with radishes, cabbage, and served with cilantro salsa on the side, or tacos al pastor, which is a combination of spicy marinated pork and pineapple, served on a soft corn tortilla and topped with onions, cilantro, and fresh lime. Our salsa verde and salsa roja hot sauces are freshly made in-house of genuine Mexican ingredients, including tomatillos, jalapenos, guajillo chiles and chile de arbol. Our meats are all hand-cut, marinaded to perfection, and served on tacos or on a massive torta sandwich. The infamous torta cubana is not to be missed - a combination of steak, spicy pork, ham, hot dog, egg, lettuce, tomato, mayo, onion, jalapeno, and avocado. We serve Mexican breakfasts all day, including huevos rancheros, huevos con chorizo (our chorizo is made fresh in-house, of course!) And we serve all the American classics, like eggs, homefries, pancakes, and french toast, until 11am. We also have daily specials showcasing other authentic Mexican dishes, such as sopes, huaraches, carne asada, chile rellenos, mole enchiladas, carnitas, and much more!
