We came here in August and found that quality and service were not as good as we have experienced on previous occasions. Mussels were very average and pulpo seco disappointing. On the plus side the pescaditos and mixed sausages were very nice. Service struggled as the place got busy. It's one of the older places in Calle Loreto which is... More

Good food, friendly service. Like most placets in Spain, friendly for our children and no questions if THE children want to eat.

There is a huge range of tapas available here- go in and have a look at the bar. Tables both inside and out can be few and far between in the evening especially at weekends and in summer. The restaurant does not open until about midday.

We stumbled across this tapas bar in C Loreto by chance and were bowled over by the delicious tapas and vermouth and sherries from the cask barrels. Lovely ambience and atmosphere with lots of old bottles of gin and sherry on display.

We had a lunch in this place during Easter holidays. I waited a sardine with 2 fried eggs for 35 minutes. Service is very poor. Food quality is bad. Our chicken bites was served to another customer, who juste arrived and make a order. Highly not recommended. There are many better places on this area.

We came before they started serving a la carta, so we had tapas instead. Great food, top service, very good ambience (inside). Pleasant house red wine. Fantastic GIN selection, more than 100, and lots of different tonics

A casual meal with my wife and the first time in 10 years we had been in this restaurant. There are so many restaurants in Calle Lorretto and competition is fierce. However this looks to be an old fashioned atmospheric Spanish restaurant. The old coffee machine, the beer taps, the barrels for sherry, mistella and port all add to the... More

Had tapas at the bar on the lovely and old stools; our favorite to share different plates. The little lamb cutlets (chuletitas de Cordero) and the dried Pulpos were just out of this world. Service was excellent and the price reasonable. Just Loved it.

Just stopped here for lunch on our first trip to Denia. Not sure I was at the same place reading these reviews. We had a tasty well prepared five course lunch for 15 Euros and every course exceeded our expectations. All seafood and all cooked perfectly. The squid was delicate and cooked to perfection. The Prawns in the rice course... More

We went wandering around Denia old town one evening; not particularly hungry after a filling and excellent menu del dia at another restaurant for lunch; but by 10pm we were feeling peckish along with hundreds of other tourists and locals in this old part of Denia. This restaurant has great food, variety of main dishes and taps (although more racione... More
