Great NYC style deli. Huge sandwiches and food portions prepared in the classic NYC deli style. This place almost makes it worthwhile to drive to Morristown. The Virginia Ham and Swiss sandwich is as good as you will get since the days of Wolfe's Deli. Service is cheerful and knowledgeable. The owner is on the premises.

Today I ordered an expensive Roast Beef Sloppy from the Morristown Deli takeout section for lunch. It was early with few customers, but it still took a long time to get my sandwich made. The sandwich turned out looking pretty good, filled with plenty of roast beef, some Swiss cheese, and coleslaw. However, the roast beef was actually dry tasting... More

I had 2 eggs over medium was very crispy and a piece of french toast seemed undercooked, nothing to rave about. My husband had the Tijuana omelette, but it too seemed overcooked and just ok. Heard this was supposed to be a good place for breakfast, but it may explain why it was empty at 930am on a Saturday.

Stopped here around 10:30AM on a Tuesday for breakfast. Both the regular menu and the daily special menu offered waffles. When I placed my order, I was informed waffles were only served on weekends. Disappointedly, I switched to pancakes with blueberries. First we were served coffee that was lukewarm. The waiter apologized and said they were brewing a fresh pot... More

This is a great deli in the heart of Morristown and great for gathering with friends for breakfast or lunch/snack. THere is a variety of choices of sandwiches, soups and salads and everything is delicious with excellent table service. It is a relaxed and comfortable athmosphere. Parking can be an issue as there is meter parking.

SIL had a egg white with spinach and mushroom omelet. She was happy happy. Waitress did a good job. Overall very satisfied and did not have to drive... More

This place might be the last great deli in America! Try breakfast or lunch- you won't be disappointed. Great quality food, always well prepared and nicest wait staff, chef and owner I've ever seen! Great food and they make you feel like family! I'd go twice a day every day if I could - it's just that good!

I now live in PA but when I lived in NJ, my husband and I use to go here all the time to get the corned beef and pastrami sandwiches. Whenever we are in the area we stop by to get a couple of sandwiches to take home. They pile them high with meat and they're not cheap. About $15... More
