Thanks to my girlfriend for taking me out to celebrate becoming my own boss. We choose Hibiscus restaurant with no regrets! This was our first time dining in at the restaurant. The ambiance was very inviting and cozy. The staff made us felt like we...were celebrities 😊! First time having curry run down seafood in the USA. It was finger licking delicious. Highly recommended. My girlfriend said the oxtails was amazingly satisfying. Anyone looking for a place to relax, hear some good music and eat like kings and Queens try out this restaurant. It’s worth the experience! We have been patronizing Hibiscus for at least ten years. We love the new location. I like how they arranged the carry out and eat in sections. You can pop in for take out or sit in the dining room. You walk in and smell...wonderful food. In 10 years the food had always been delicious. Several dishes are listed as Jamaican but all of it is beautifully seasoned and very well prepared. Sometimes the service is a bit slow. There is live music on Friday and Saturday evening. We have been happy customers for 20 years so go and enjoy yourself.More

First time visiting the new location on Morris St. Much bigger place. It’s in a plaza so there is plenty of parking. Staff was very friendly and the food was delicious as always. I brought 3 friends with me who had never been and they...all loved the food. One was Jamaican so that says a lot.More

This was my second time to the restaurant but my first to the new location. Anything with jerk is VERY spicy. I had a delicious coconut curry seafood dish that I really enjoyed. The fritter was authentically delicious. I do have a problem paying such...high prices for the food you can get on the streets in the Caribbean for $2. It seems like a really high mark up for bringing the flavors to Motown. I also did not appreciate a $5 share charge that was not mentioned on the menu. Good food but it just doesn't make me happy enough to go back.More

This wonderful place, now located on Spring St. in the strip center next to train station, is a gem. Intimate, well managed, attentive owner and staff but not overly so. Four dining options, with same menu options: tablecloth area, inside tables, patio dining, and takeout;...latter does not detract from the dining experience. On Saturday when we were there, live reggae musician and dance space! Everything tasted fabulous from the shrimp skewer apps to our jerk chicken and curried chicken entrees with their unique kick-y spice, served with vegetables, rice and beans, and plantains! Yum! We were about to skip dessert when we were convinced to share their rum flavored bread pudding! Wise decision!! Smoothe flavor, cooked to perfection.More

Great food, great service. The owner is charming and personable. She's as authentic as the food. Scallop appetizer was incredible, oxtail dinnerwas perfect. Loved it all. Go! New location - 20 Morris Avenue, Morristown (no longer in the hotel)
