What an eye-candy dining experience: a spacious eatery inside the Madison Hotel, with gracious staff like Christa/ Angel/ Jean, fine food served quickly, lovely chandeliers. A memorable experience.
Great food, great service.
I have eaten here often while in town for business and have yet to be disappointed. The food is great, and the service better, keep up the great work.
We have been going to the tavern for years. I think that the food has been going down hill but last week was bad.
The fish in the fish and chips smelled so badly of ammonia that it was impossible to eat. I asked a...friend who owns a fish store and he said the fish was old and should never have been served and definitely not eaten.
I was with friends and did not wish to make a fuss. I am sure the owner would have made it right but what i wish they would do is when a customer takes only one taste the waitress should inquire as to why.More
The restaurant is very nice. The service was good. I had the open turkey sandwich and it was excellent. We weren't rushed and everything was appitizing.
This is my local "go to" place. I have sat at the bar, where the bartenders are all excellent. I have also sat at tables. Every salad I have had has been very good. I often get the chilled seafood platter - delicious. Or raw...oysters - also good, and fresh. Very good hamburger. My husband has gotten a steak - also good, but a bit pricey.More
Love, Love and historic looking place. The waiter was awesome. Made our ordering easy even when we didn’t know what we wanted. The food was very good. I’m a lover of woodwork. BEAUTIFUL PLACE.
Loved this casual restaurant in the somewhat formal Madison Hotel. Service was attentive and professional. Food was well prepared and mostly standard American fare with an upscale twist. Wine was reasonably priced. We had a great dinner!
I dined with a larger group and everyone truly enjoyed their food which was excellent but the service was so slow we spent 2 hours at the table for 2 simple courses. Needed more servers. Unacceptable and disrespectgull. Need a mww keek
