Having been advised to try and book a 'feast' here, our first opportunity was to just stop off for an early lunch prior to a coastal walk. Arrived at 1130 having not realised lunch cooking is not available until 12, so decided to have a pasty and sausage roll, which were ready. By the time these and our coffees had... More

We were told about this little hideaway by a local and went along for a cuppa & piece of cake. Such an idyllic spot even on a cold October day. Just love it! The drinks were hot and professionally made (as in proper coffee machines), the cakes were homemade and I loved that the food was being cooked outdoors on... More

Great food especially on soup Sundays. Great soup cooked in large pots on the beach. Pasties and cakes and coffee plus many other goodies

After a ride on the Motorbike to St Mawes, we popped into Porthscatho on the way. We heard about this place (Hidden Hut) and it sounded like our sort of place to go for a bite to eat. It was a bit of a walk from the Car Park on the main road to The Hut which is down in... More

A morning on the beach was finished with a fabulous picnic - Cornish Pasties, Sausage Rolls, numerous soups and fab cakes. If you're eating "in" the view is amazing. A great spot.

What a hidden gem to fall upon!! We visited on a Soup Sunday in September and came across many people laughing, relaxing & enjoying the homemade soups, warm bread & many different varieties of cakes sat at the rustic tables, enjoying the fresh air and sun in between the showers. The extra special hot chocolate with cream & marshmallows a... More

Food was dry and not great. Not very friendly service but scenery is fab and a nice place to stop and look out to sea

At this time of year it is advertised that only soup and cake is available but wow what tasty soup and scrumptious cakes!! We had an amazing spicy lamb soup followed by lemon polenta cake, chocolate brownie and cherry and pistachio slice, all just first class. The position on the coastal path overlooking the beach is magic.

Had been told about this place and how good it was, delighted to find it so easily. The greatest disappointment was that it only served filter coffee - today we ask for more. The cakes looked delicious (but didn't have one as had only just had a large breakfast). Wonderful view down to the beach.
