Visited mid-week out of season with my Wife. What a fantastic little spot. Highly recommend if you want a brew or light bite during a walk on the coastal path or if you're on the beach with kids and/or dogs. Awesome views of the sea...More

Visited for the crab feast night after managing to secure a couple of tickets. Excellent is the only way to describe. An outdoor posh picnic, you bring your own wine and plates and they were cooking over 100 crabs on the fire and served them...More

This hidden gem was recommended to us - I had the tomato and basil soup - delicious! Best tomato soup I've ever tasted (along with the warm rosemary bread as an accompaniment)! Fabulous views and great food. Thank you!

Popular beach hut cafe which served very tasty food , quickly and we managed to get a table to enjoy our lunchtime snack overlooking the beach . My wife's thick , filling tomato soup was delicious , my steak pasty was also very fresh and...More

The food looked and smelt good, but overpriced. Coffee was thin and the teabag sitting in hot water in a disposable cup was unpleasant and expensive.

Popped in for elevenses with my parents. Great tea and coffee and amazing cakes. I was able to bring the car along the track to collect my mum who currently has a bad leg. Nothing was too much trouble.

A year on and another lovely lunch. Hubby had a beef/potato/lentil curry and I had homemade hummus/flatbread. Both delicious and served quickly. A sunny day and it was so relaxing sitting on the benches looking out to sea. As previous people have said, not your...More

We drove here after recommendation from a close friend. It is a 'hut' style place. Seating outside overlooking the beach. Exposed but lovely spot. We had pasties but they did have a few other things like posh soups and curry etc. A bit festival like...More

We visited here for a quick lunch - the food was tasty and quickly prepared. There are some great options on the menu (not the usual sandwiches and pasties you would expect for a beachside cafe) but soup, veggie curry and chilli. The staff were...More

We also took our older dog and parked at the bottom of road and walked across the beach which would be better than walking from car park just before portscatho.

Hi, you can park on the top road car park and walk down through a field (a signed public footpath) to the Hidden Hut.

I've just had a look on Google Maps and a ferry to Place Creek, followed by the walk along the South West Coast Path (via the tip of St Anthony Head) is apparently 7.1 miles or 2 hours, 20 minutes.
