This is after all a beach cafe......but one with a difference! Great location with stunning views of the Cornish coast and despite being hyped up by the likes of the Daily Telegraph it provides an excellent selection of lunchtime fare at very reasonable prices (it...More

We have just had a delicious lunch - fish chowder for me and beef curry for my husband. Both fantastic - in fact the best chowder I have ever tasted. The salted caramel brownies are to die for! Don't know how they manage to produce...More

Have yet to experience a 'feast night' event but the experience on a normal day's dining is 100%. There's no pretence nor illusions of grandeur - the Hidden Hut achieves excellence as its norm. The daily dishes are imaginative and have never disappointed. Happy diners.

Had lunch here during a recent holiday in Cornwall guided by the trip advisor rating. Having discovered where to park on the road previously we enjoyed a perfect sunny spring day in a beautiful location. The food alone merits the five stars without the location....More

Better to approach this from the Portscatho end rather than from Rosevine because parking is an issue at the latter. There is no cover, so this is a fine day outing and the view is glorious. There are evening events that sell out immediately but...More

Food was home cooked literally before your eyes, tasted delicious, overlooking unspoilt countryside and a dog friendly beach

Lovely stop for lunch whilst walking the dog. The Dahl was lovely and can highly recommend! Wash down with a cup of Chai! Would visit again.

Not so hidden and probably becoming deservedly less so, more and more! Fantastic location, no frills, but really nice food. Between us we had two different soups, Cornish pasty, sausage rolls, and various drinks, all were excellent. We were there on nice sunny but windy...More

We visited the Hidden Hut today and what a fantastic day it was in Cornwall, blue skies all the way. We walked with our golden retriever puppy and had lunch, a brilliant lunch of seafood soup and gorgeous flavoursome rolls. We had wanted to visit...More

We also took our older dog and parked at the bottom of road and walked across the beach which would be better than walking from car park just before portscatho.

Hi, you can park on the top road car park and walk down through a field (a signed public footpath) to the Hidden Hut.

I've just had a look on Google Maps and a ferry to Place Creek, followed by the walk along the South West Coast Path (via the tip of St Anthony Head) is apparently 7.1 miles or 2 hours, 20 minutes.
