It was a lovely sunny day and decided to go for a pub lunch. The garden has a beautiful view of the horses and countryside. The food was nice and drinks reasonably priced. I would highly recommend it especially on a sunny day.

Stayed for two nights (2-4th April) with friends. The rooms were spotless and well appointed. Breakfast menu was good and the food excellent. The people who run the pub and their staff, were helpful and friendly.

A friendly and efficient pub with good quality pub food. Serves until 9pm each day. Some seating outside. We stopped here on a circular walk from St Mawes, a good choice.

This review is some what overdue. Back in 2012 I was walking the South West Coast Path with some friends and we got to the Plume of Feathers at late afternoon. It was an unscheduled stop as we got soaked and needed to warm up...More

This is a very nice olde worldy pub in the village square. This is quite a pricey place, but the food, atmosphere and service are excellent. Parking in the square can be tight and short-term, but you can park up the hill at a pay and...More

I went there with a bunch of friends and was really unhappy with my meal. I had fish chips and "crushed peas". The fish was overdone and unfortunately the crushed peas were disappointing. I would have complained at the time but did not want to...More

Hi, we are open on Christmas day for 2 hours just for drinks, no food I'm afraid. Dogs are more than welcome, there can sometimes be more dogs than people in the pub so they must be on leads. All other days, food is... More

Description
The Plume of Feathers is a 17th century traditional Cornish coastal pub, offering hand pull beers and great food. On May 1st 2016 we opened our 5 en-suite B&B rooms above the Plume, the rooms are beautifully appointed and the convenience of being in the center of Portscatho is a great base to discover the Roseland. Colin & Paul Marriott, yes twins, you're not seeing double, took over the Plume from Graham Thomas in October 2013 after Grahams mighty 35 year reign and are indebted to him for his grace and support. His legacy of a friendly welcoming pub continues to be paramount.
