Love Rosey Lea's. The food is fresh and delicious and the service is friendly, helpful and efficient. The tea shop is clean and the china is pretty. The toasties are tasty and the coleslaw crunchy and saucy. The scones are home-baked and the cakes are wonderful.

This is a great place and mine and my friends and families 'to go' meeting point. Service may be a little slow to get your order but once the food is there it is great. Lovely food and a very relaxed atmosphere. Will always be back!

A great place for good coffee (and green tea on previous occasions) and a wonderful breakfast. A little quirky but so much better than those starmaking coastamongers down the road!

The Rose Lea is a very pleasant cafe to visit. The drinks and food are very good and so are their prices. They do a good selection of cooked food as well as snacks and cakes. They are located in the market square in the town. They also have bedrooms at the back so for any traveller needing accommodation as... More

Excellent place. We went there twice, experiencing a tea break first and a full Breakfast the second time. The place is very nice and cosy, managed by gentle and friendly personnel. The quality of tea & food was outstanding, all served in a way to let you experience the very traditional British flavor. Average prices. Definitely a place to recommend.

As a strong independent mother of 3 I decided to pop in with a few friends for a well deserved break. I asked for a baguette, which was advertised as a meal in itself (I don't know what you guys class as a meal but it was barely an aperitif. Seriously I've had vol-au-vants larger). My friend ordered a sandwich... More

Ideal place to stop off for a coffee and bacon sandwich, always appears to be busy and the young girls service is extremely good.

Visited Rosey Lea on the 29th December an hour and a half before they closed. The shop was slowly closing down and we were the only ones in there barring another couple. We couldn't wait to have a cuppa and a light lunch as we had heard so many great reviews of the place. It was lovely and cosey inside... More
