We were recommended to try here as it is a very well thought of restaurant. We managed to catch the lunchtime opening and apart from ourselves only one other diner here. It was a lunchtime menu which was if the same standard I would expect...More

First visit to Deils Couldron last night and we were blown away. Food was outstanding, scotch beef two ways, and pork belly were fantastic, and the two ladies were very welcoming, would highly recommend this restaurant, already booked to return.

Superb meal. Last visited in 2010 and this is sill one of the best restaurants I have eaten in. Cosy atmosphere with excellent service. I enjoyed the haddock risotto, the lamb haggis and the chocolate mousse was indescribably gorgeous.

We've been going here occassionally for many years. We need to change that and go much more often. Brian's cooking is excellent and Katie's 'front of house' is always professional and friendly. Tjis is one of Perthshire's gems.

Simple food, traditional but well cooked. Scallops, Scotish beef cooked 2 ways which was exceptional and Eaton mess was a great dinner on Easter Saturday. Staff were attentive. Wine list is good as well although we took our own wines (corkage of £9?)

It was an early April Wednesday which accounted for the fact that my wife and I had the main dining area to ourselves, so any atmosphere was our responsibilty, but we could imagine this place when full at the weekend. The food, menu changed pretty...More
