Yes your paying for the large slices of homemade cake and home cooked thick slices of meats. Would have preferred four small cakes and maybe a piece of quiche. Just a... More

We decided on high teas, as the cakes looked delicious, we were disappointed. The cakes were crumbly and dry and fell apart on the plates, and the scones were tasteless. The scones used to be... This is the first time we visited since the recent tea room extension. As ever the grounds are kept to the usual high standards. The new extension takes its place very well with it complimenting the lovely peaceful grounds. I couldn't help but take the opportunity to leave a review after the service we received today. The staff were very... More
