This is not really my sort of place, but when I walked through here it had the great advantage of being open for business at lunchtime, unlike absolutely everywhere else in this rather run down town. Three pubs, all shut.. The lady behind the counter...More

Thanks for positive comments about food. I do understand your observation about customer service Sadly the lady serving has had a very recent bereavement and at the time you visited I believe her partner was very unwell, but she was insistent on coming to work.

We'd just done a really tough cycle ride and wanted lunch. Busy Bees had tables outside where we could sit and keep an eye on our bikes. There was a fair choice of veggie food and delicious cakes and tray bakes. Service was efficient and...More

Popped in here for a bite to eat. We both ordered the mega breakfast, it was absolutely delicious, we both commented on how nice the baked beans were lol, it's the little things that make it better than others. Highly recommend visiting here if you're...More

We went there after an exam one day, the service to us as 16 year olds was horrible, no effort at all shown, the sausages weren't cooked well-burnt,the bacon was definitely cheap ones, basically either walk, catch a bus or drive to Jenny's in Porthmadog

My wife did her usually and took me for a little walk. Ten miles later and about six away from our accommodation we agreed to stop for lunch. She spotted the Busy Bees just off the road junction and we dropped in. Prices looked reasonable,...More

first impressions are important. The restaurant was spotless and later I found the toilet to be spotless too. Staff very attentive and friendly and understanding of my inability due to health issues to finish my soup. Perhaps next visit they would arrange a very small...More

I went here with my Hubby on a Tuesday lunchtime. It wasn't very "busy" inside but we prefer it that way. The interior is painted yellow which makes it bright and cheerful. The lady Waitress was very welcoming and pleasant. We were served with a...More

Homely,Telephoned Order waiting for me when I Arrive, Good Value for Money, clean, and if dining in you never feel under any pressure to leave, as has happened to me in other restraunts.

A truly lame panini was had by myself here, one could possibly state the most boring panini to ever grace a plate. Tea cup was filthy and the cafe was cold. With the atmosphere of a slag heap I suggest you find elsewhere on your...More

I couldn't resist a Thursday "over-60's" 2-course special. I had a decent portion of pork cooked in cider with mash and vegetables - a hunk of black-forest gateau - and pot of tea. I'm new to the area - this place gets me out of...More
