Excellent with a excellent wine list if in Cardiff give it a go. After you can walk across the barrage towards Cardiff Bay.

My cousins brought us to this delightful restaurant for dinner. The food is very fresh, local and made to order. Absolutely delish. The atmosphere is beautifully relaxed, laid back and conducive to a great glass of wine and conversation.

Been here four times, generally at the suggestion of my daughters. The service is friendly and the food is OK-ish, but you have to wonder whether it's worth the price, especially when you're paying for 10 people. It's always busy, which must mean that most...More

I love this place ... it's local ... and the food choice and quality is always top notch. Last night was no exception ... and the restaurant area upstairs is less 'crowded' than the downstairs dining area .... service was impeccable and friendly ... and...More

We go here quite often, the food is great and the staff are lovely. This is situated in a grade listed building on the edge of the Marina with stunning views across the Channel. If you want to burn off those calories, you can walk...More

My wife and I went to El Puerto last night for dinner whilst staying at a nearby hotel. Absolutely superb service and extremely delicious food. We had the 2 dishes for £19.99 - excellent choice, and the staff didn't mind us asking questions about the...More

Best fresh food in the area. Always tastes as good as it looks. See what you are going to eat before it is cooked.

I've heard about this imposing building, the old Customs House at the harbour mouth at Cardiff Bay (Penarth side). This is one of those restaurants where the raw food is displayed in the cabinet, you choose and they cook it to order, quite a tried...More

Well I don't understand how he has had such a bad experience there. the food is marvellous and service isn't really an issue - you order yourself then the food comes 20 minutes later - job done. If he needs a pub then I suggest he uses a pub not a restaurant!

We have been here on numerous occasions and have never had a poor meal . It is noisy and busy but if you want quiet you can go upstairs , the staff are always great - perhaps because they know us and we live across the road... More
