Mammys has good food and is a first come first seated basis. The dinning area is small and can crowded pretty fast. The great items: blueberry tea, humming bird cake & the sandwiches. The not so good: "homemade soup" that's obviously soup out of a can with extra vegetables added. Everyone should go to mammys at least once for the... More

This is a classic bit of local history that has bee around for many years and served various purposes. We were looking for an interesting place to eat while in Natchez and a local steered us to Mammy's. At noon the parking lot will be full so in terms of parking you have to be creative and/or patient. The restaurant... More

Unique place to eat. Only open for lunch a few hours each day. Offers sandwiches on fresh bread that they make there daily. Also have a daily lunch special and awesome desserts!

Small and intimate place. Food was okay. Staff was very friendly. Only open a limited time but good "comfort" food. Not much choice in the area

How often can you snap a few photos at a lunch stop and order lunch at the same time....or, is that just me....regardless...take the time in scenic 61 to see this architectural structure. You will never see another one, I promise.

Mammy's Cupboard is an iconic landmark along the highway; a southern mammy, rising like Lazarus from the ground, is the stuff tourist dreams are made of. Reading reviews about sumptuous pies and cakes, oozing homestyle charm, it seemed like an unmissable stop on our road trip. So, after a six hour drive from Dallas, and making the decision to bypass... More

We wanted to eat here but we were too early. Instead we stopped and took a couple of photos. This place is a nice quirky peice of Americana. A fun photo stop if you're in the area.

Went to Mammy's on advice from Natchez Visitor Center. My Reuben was OK, but corned beef was grocery store packaged, not deli-sliced. Big flavor difference. Veg soup was good. Potato salad was 'OK.' Wife's chicken salad sandwich was good, but didn't seem to have the ginger and pineapple mentioned on the menu. I wanted a glass of plain ice water.... More

I love to have lunch here when I come home to visit! The chicken salad and soup is my all time favorite! I don't ever try anything else. Of course, don't pass on the dessert! Banana caramel pie is to die for! I am always stuffed so we share a piece! The hummingbird cake is good but I always go... More
