I had the chicken fajita wrap which, while tasty, had an over abundance of rice and very little chicken. The soup special was a jalapeño corn chowder which was excellent. My husband had the beef dip au jus which he thought was okay but the...au jus was really lacking in flavour. We would go back but not with overly high expectations.More

Very tasty home cooking. The staff was very warm and welcoming. Nice ambiance and non-alcoholic beer is available.

Everything was good about this restaurant. Food was yummy, service was great, and we had a large party of 16. Reservations were easy. The only reason it’s not a 5 star....they charged $1 for hot sauce and $1 for mayonnaise. Who does that?

6 of us went here for dinner. Decor is dated and needs a refresh. Service was okay. She wasn't friendly. 3 meals came out first. Then 2. Then a few minutes later the last wrap came out. My guess is they forgot to make 2...wrap orders or they didn't get punched in. Drinks were good. Food was good. I had the blue cheese & bacon burger. ($16). Seemed odd that jalapeños and pico de galo were on it but I liked it. We parked at a lot across the street. Alright spot for a bite & a drink.More

Went for wing night and the wings are great. Had some sweet potatoe fries and asked for some more dipping sauce. Was charged an extra buck for enough dip for 6fries. What a rip. Nickel and dime joint. Will try to find another place for...good wings. Had words with the owner and his response was basically; if you don't like don't come back. Not sure I'll go back any time soon.More

Wanted a good pizza and wasn't disappointed. That, coupled with 2- 4 -1 Irish beer , made for a great dinner. Staff were busy but service was friendly and prompt. A nice break from that other establishment we frequent in Napanee.

Met friends here for dinner the night before beginning our Ride the Highlands Loop. Everyone enjoyed their dinner, I had the steak and it was quite tasty. The beans and bacon “soup” was very thick though, more like just beans...with bacon. Our server was very...friendly and helpful.More

Great food for the price and considering it’s a pub. Nice place to have a drink, beautiful terrace, friendly staff. Overall we had a great time. And the desserts are to die for.

On a small trip in the area of Kingston, we stayed in Napanee. As such we figured a nice meal in a pub would be nice. Unfortunately, the wait staff was not the friendliest or the smiliest. The wait time for our food was very...long, and when asked about it, we were told abruptly that people on the patio were there first. It was a Friday night where they were having a seniors specials. The waitress was very nice to the seniors. I wonder if it was because we weren't locals. Anyhow, needless to say I certainly don't recommend this place to anyone.More

It's typical pub but have a nice patio out front. I had to go in to get the girls attention but after that all good. Rayanne end up being our server and was great. Friendly, even brought a dog bowl for a little water as...we had a puppy with us. Only had a few beers so can't comment on food. But I'd go ba k and try it.More

Questions & Answers
Ask a question
Why would you take a 12 year old girl to a PUB? The fact remains that their profit margin likely comes from the sale of booze. You only need to enter the place to realize it is no place for a child. That is on you! Any foul language she heard was as a result of your parenting choice to have her in an adult setting. I would bet money that she was likely the ONLY child in there. That does not however excuse poor service & under cooked food & hygiene practice's you speak of. If you are that sensitive about the location of the bathroom facilities, I suggest you scope out a place before you get a table. Save yourself the grief. There are doors on those bathrooms!I have been in the ladies a couple of times & I am extremely picky. It was very clean. You only mentioned bad things though. Are you sure you were not having an off day? I would no sooner spend over 20 minutes waiting for a server(s) that are spitting distance away. The place is not that big. Your child had to be starving at this point & definitely getting a sour stomach soaking up your increasing tensions. Your table must have been a joy. I hope you learned things from your experience so you can avoid such an unpleasant one in the future.
