To be open and honest i have ordered from this place before and the food was generally pretty good. But what upsets me about tonight was that someone in this restaurant purposely filled my take out order with left over reheated fish and chips, the...chips were horrid and the fish dried and like rubber. I did call the owner who denied the obvious which upset me because if this order was over cooked or even under cooked to the point it was inedible i could understand the mistake and except the refund ..this was not a mistake and it may not have been done by an owner but someone was unloading food that was previously cooked and recooked that should have went in the garbage instead of being pawned off on an unsuspecting take-out customer... our dinner was ruined and me driving back and forth the 20km and wasting my time to get a refund was not my idea of this establishment taking responsibility for their poor service .. i would have been happy with an honest apology and a rain check and this review could have been avoided ...More

would not let me change my order after ordering the wrong fish, was extremely greasy and over cooked.

This is a family restaurant, it was clean, and the waitress was friendly. We ordered the special for Tuesday, order one fish and chips with drink, the second one half price, with an order of a drink The music was a little too loud, but...that is almost everywhere the case. The bathrooms were clean. The fish and chips were real good, it was one big piece of fish, and the rest of the plate was filled with fresh French fries. There was plenty of fish tartar, and we got two serving of mayo, what we requested. The only thing that was missing was a slice of lemon for the fish. It was a delicious meal, well done.More

We came here on July 27th. The service was friendly and fast. We ordered appetizers and they came fast and sizzling hot. Our main meal arrived just when we were nearly done appetizers and those were sizzling hot too. They were large portions and delicious...😋. Outstanding burgers. They are well know for fish and chips. But wow the burgers are good. My go to place when down here from Huntsville. Friendly service. Well done Napanee Fish and Chips.

Following Covid rules with limited seating. Family owned and run with Fabulous friendly service. Authentic Fish and Chips with homemade Coleslaw. So big a serving it falls off the plate.

Open on the Victoria Day Monday. Went there because it was the only place open in town. Owner chastised me for asking about the Monday special, one haddock and fries and 2nd half price. Said the specify was over at 3 pm, like I should...know that. It is not posted on the sign. I wanted one haddock with fries but the other with salad, he chastised me because I asked about the price. He said lots of money, if you have to ask then maybe you shouldn't buy. We were hungry, separate I guess, otherwise I would have bid him farewell.More

I LOVE Fish and Chips and when we moved to Napanee, I tried both of the main F & C places. We now go to Napanee Fish and Chips whenever we want to enjoy a good meal at a reasonable price. We've eaten at this restaurant several times since it moved to their latest location. The fish and chips are good but inconsistent as I've had great fish and mediocre and I always order the halibut. I was there in September for the last time.

Have driven past this place a few times, today I stopped in. Although it was a take out, the place smells amazing and you actually get to watch the cooks making their fare. Clams and chips were great, good sized serving, hot and tasty.
