WOW! What a wonderful find. I have been ordering weekly meals from "Heart-To-Home" under the Veternas VIP program for a long time and recently discovered the Royal Coachman's VIP program.
Having pretty much worked my way through the Coachman's monthly VIP menu, I can honestly...say "What a difference!" Every meal has been totally enjoyable. I actually look forward to dining at home once again, thanks to the chefs at the Royal Coachman Keep up the excellent cooking folks.
If you are a Canadian veteran enrolled in the VIP program I strongly encourage you to give the Royal Coachman's VIP meal program a try. I think you'll find it to be a BIG cut above the alternative programs presently available
Quality, Taste & Value. It's all here!

Excellent food, lovely atmosphere, staff are courteous and attentive. One of the best places to go for a special meal. The seafood buffet is marvelous and the lobster and crab legs plentiful. The white linen and beautiful table setting only add to the ambience. Thank...you for a lovely evening.More
We went on a Sunday for their early bird special. The restaurant has a few small, quiet sections and the service was excellent. The choices when we visited were roast beef or turkey dinners and we both had the turkey. Very much like a home...made dinner! Other folks at the next table had the beef and I heard them commenting on how good it was as well. Good portion size, too. I would recommend this restaurant for the food, the atmosphere and the service.More
I have been meaning to write this for some time , having moved to the area almost 2 years ago. We have had the pleasure of enjoying many fabulous meals , buffets and recently attended a wedding as well.
It was love at first bite....The food is outstanding , as is the service . I can honestly say Hubby and I have had some of the most wonderful dinners here. We have recommended the Royal Coachman several times as well to visiting Guests who have loved it as much as we do. Recently having been invited to attend a wedding , I just love the fact that you can have both the ceremony and the reception all in one beautiful venue.
The owners are Lovely , the staff are super friendly , truly is a treat to dine there. We love the holiday buffets, each and every item is always Deeeeelish !!
So if you love great food, outstanding service , this place is for you!More
Hard to believe its been 9 months since the wedding. Better late than never.
The wedding was held outside in the rear part of the property, lovely setting, plenty of space for numerous guests. Pictures were taken around the restaurant, wonderful backdrop with plenty of...flowers, trees, ornamental items.
Then onto the decorated outdoor tent, plenty of room for guests, i believe there was approx 110.
The food was very good, buffet style, lots of choices. Then amazing pizza later in the evening, owner was kind enough to make a special pizza for my husband who is allergic to tomato seeds, delicious alfredo sauce instead of traditonal tomato base sauce.
Staff were also accommodating when it came to providing a variety of usual and not so usual drinks.
A great place for weddings but i'm sure Janet and Randy could accommodate almost any type of function. Thank you both very much.More
Reviews were consistently good, and combined with the fact the place has been in business for decades, we finally decided to stop in. Although it was "seafood buffet night", we elected to order from the menu. The seafood buffet had several interesting-looking items, but they...weren't labelled. Many were self-evident, but some of the mixed dishes (e.g. a jambalaya?) could have been clarified. We were also told there was a "catch of the day" but there was nothing to identify what that was. We ordered scallops as a starter, and beef wellingtons for our mains. The scallops were cooked acceptably; any more time and they would have been rubbery. They were swimming besides a literal "lake" of ordinary cocktail sauce, far too much for the number of scallops. The beef in the beef wellington was cooked as we were told, i.e., medium rare, although a bit stringy. The platter on which it was served had a large serving of glazed carrots, a mound of mixed vegetabvles, and a baked potato. The servings were certainly large: for us, who are used to smaller portions, it was actually too much and we regrettably had to leave a lot of food on the plate. Although the presentation of the pastry around the beef wellington was very creatively done, there was a considerable amount of excess. The supersized servings and lackluster side vegetables are out of touch with contemporary service. Given the popularity of the place, I'd recommend it to those who appreciate large meals, but it wasn't for me.More

I wasn’t very impressed with the seafood buffet, especially for the cost of $65/ per person. The lobster was frozen & heated up. There was certainly plenty of food available but I found it to be what seemed like a lot of premade items and having gluten sensitivity there was a lot I could not eat.
Guess I’ve been spoiled by eating fresh seafood in Maine & the Maritime provinces.
