This was by far one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. Our waitress, who was in no hurry to assist any of the diners, eventually got to our table handed us menus and asked us if this was separate checks...or together. Separate we said. She takes our drink orders and shows up 15 minutes later with a beer with the top still on (not a twist off), no glass and a diet coke...again no glass, no ice. Had to wait another 5 minutes for her to bring a bottle opener. Already I'm miffed. We both ordered the frying pan nachos with chicken. After waiting an excruciatingly long time for our order, she brings my nachos first and my friends order about 5 minutes later. The nachos were awful. $16.99 for nacho chips, processed cheese, diced tomatoes, onions and yellow bell peppers, no spices, not seasoned....and no chicken. When I asked where is the chicken, she clearly forgot to add chicken to the order. She said I'll be right back and I'll bring you chicken for your nachos. She never came back to our table. My beer was empty...she never asked if I wanted another, she never asked if I wanted water. Twice we asked for the bill and she ignored us. Finally I got her attention and asked for the bill yet again and she tells us to go inside to the counter. Wth kind of system is this? The guy at the register had 12 bills in front of him asking what I had and of course he can't find it because the waitress put everything on one bill. The food was awful and overpriced, the atmosphere was okay, but the service was literally the worst I've ever experienced. This woman should not be working in the service industry. She clearly dislikes her job and puts no effort into her work to ensure her customers are looked after. Will never return to this restaurant.More

Bed was very comfortable, room was clean except the bathroom. The tub desperately needs replacing and the chalking was in poor shape. The mini fridge was rusty and also needs replacing.

My partner and I stayed in one of the cabins with a couple of friends this last weekend and it was a fantastic experience! Ivan and Yvonne (I hope I'm spelling their names right) were super lovely and helpful - quick to respond to requests...and got us all set-up and comfortable in no time. The cottage (#3) was beautiful and clean, and right on the water with a view you can't beat. It even smelled super nice in our cabin. It was really well stocked - the only thing we were missing was frying pans, but thankfully we had packed our own. Otherwise, we had everything we needed. We were just blown away by how thoughtful our hosts were. You definitely will have a wonderful time here. We can't wait to come back again! Thanks Ivan and Yvonne!More

Our meals were all great and tasty. I had the special... chicken wings. Not the usual lunch special but very good with lots of meat on the wings.

Ordered the broasted chicken, 3 pieces plus fries and one Guinness beer. The chicken tasted like fish and the fries like garlic. The 3 pieces of chicken where very small and over cooked. The bill came to just over 28 dollars! Avoid this hole. Oh...and I almost forgot to mention the flies.More

While looking for a lunch stop during a shopping trip to Wiarton, we came across the Pacific Hotel. We were met by Ivan the Manager, who escorted us outside to sit in a covered gazebo - lovely! Our lunch was excellent! Home made burger, salad,...pan fried nachos....all excellent! We enjoyed visiting with Ivan too...More

Place was empty at lunchtime that was our first clue that we should not have stayed.Smelled of a bad odor inside maybe mould who knows.Washroom disgusting second clue but my friend wanted to give them a chance. There were lots of flies in the dining area...where we sat. Burger was the special of the day asked if it was homemade or frozen waitress/cook/bartender who knows as we only saw one person working said only homemade nothing else. A couple came in and sat down waited about ten minutes got up and left smart move for them that's when I figured out waitress was likely the cook. Food came out gross a tiny little bun with two small frozen burgers the kind you buy a grocery store on it no grill marks likely pan fried tasteless one bite and I walked out. I regret taking a bite of that burger hope I don't become ill. Seriously thinking about calling in a report to Dept. of Health.More

We dined there on Wednesday July 26, 2017. The waitress was so helpful and the cook was Jamaican so my wife had a great chicken curry a then made me a superior grilled chop that was compatible with my diet. There was a rainstorm so...there were few out that evening, but this is a not to miss locationMore

Brought family here for Fish and Chips and wings. Our server took the time to answer our questions and engage in conversation about the business. We enjoyed thick portions of Haddock loin, homemade coleslaw and tartar sauce. Hands down the best tasting chicken wings in...the area. Best value on double order day. New owners catering to patrons who want a homemade meal and relaxed family setting. Will be returning to try other dishes. 😊👍🏼More

How can you go so wrong with cheeseburgers and fries? Well the burgers did not have any flavor, they crumbled to pieces and were way over priced. What kind of restaurant does not except debit cards, that's ridiculous. Will never waste my time returning!

We booked two rooms at the Pacific Inn, with 3 people to a room. Each suite was spacious, clean and extremely well stocked. The bed was comfortable and the pull out couch was decent as well. Check in time was 4, but the lovely concierge...let us check in around 2 after a long drive in. The staff was warm and friendly, and the inn has a nice old-timey feel in shared spaces. The suites were renovated. The building itself was quite warm but multiple AC units in the suites made them very comfortable. The Inn was about a 40 minute walk to the Bruce Peninsula National Park. I would highly recommend this place!More

We were a party of 8 people and had trouble getting seats in downtown Wiarton, so we took a chance on the dining room in Pacific Hotel. Most of us took the fish and chips specific, which turned out to be very good. The service...was courteous and friendly. The dining area and washrooms are clean, and it can accommodate large groups. The menu has a wide selection. Will definitely dine here again.More
