Visited as part of a group. The chicken fried pieces were excellent. Very crispy, not at all greasy. Yum plantain chips. Good portion sizes and a very nice rose wine and very reasonable price too for the meals. Our table was served quickly , others in our group had to wait longer but overall recommend.

We had a reservation for 8:00 for 12 people, the restaurant was full and at 8:15 the staff were trying to set up a table for us which took another 20 minutes! It looked very nice but trying to get our drinks and meals was agony. Tight space and a large group and staff took ages to take our drink... More

This is a paladar (means privately run) restaurant and nice to see it being used by locals. A great sign a) that it's good cuban food and b) cheaper than the normal tourist places. It was busy and people queued to get in. A meal with plantain chips to start, salad, main and cocktail only came to 15cuc.

Our driver knew of this place where we stopped in Cienfuegos. The food and service were good. This was a small establishment but well appointed. The prices were about $10-12 cuc per person for a nice entree with ensalada and rice and beans. The fried sweet potatoes were very good.

This was a nice, small restaurant with excellent food and service. We enjoyed the meal and environment immensely. We were fortunate that all the patrons were quiet and respectful of each other, and the quality of our service shone through!

Comfortable little escape restaurant. Great staff and good food. Unfortunately an American tour group arrived toward the end of our meal and spoiled the ambiance for us.

We went here with friends we met along the way and they made a great choice. The food was unusually tasty (for Cuba). The service was good and the price was very acceptable. I would recommend booking in advance as we had a 30 min wait. I would definitely recommend this place if you want some decent food! I hope... More

We were led here by our host (who probably got commission for it!). Looked like a trap from the beginning, but we felt awkward to walk away since our host had literally walked us there- big mistake! The food is less than average, looked like it was thrown on the plate hastily, bland food and way overpriced for Cuba!! You... More
