Ate here twice (for dinner) during our 5 day stay. Both meals were exceptional. Perfect service. Breakfast was also wonderful!

Wow! This was the best food we have ever had on the island of Maui. We are still talking about the food to our friends and family. If you want a romantic setting with 5 star service and food this will not disappoint you. Order the Lamb Chops and Truffle Risoto!!
Great restaurant- go at sunset. Pricey but worth it for our special occasion! 25th Anniversary and friends wedding.
I recent enjoyed my birthday dinner at The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea (formerly Capische?) and was thrilled with the changes. I called ahead with the special request and advised of my wheat allergy, so they prepared a custom multi-course tasting menu. Chef did an amazing job of creating so many fantastic, palate pleasing courses, my taste buds thought they had... More
Expensive but what isn't in Wailea? Good view, good location, good service. A variety of views so ask for what you would like. Open to the outdoors for those wonderful breezes!

You can spend a lot of money dining out in good restaurant in Maui. What you end up getting (in the handful of places we visited) was well executed meals. The Restaurant is pricier by about 30 to 50 per cent but completely worth it. The foie gras terrine was amazing. So was the seared ahi. The dessert was beyond... More

The hotel took over the restaurant formerly known as Capische?. New chef, mostly new menu, and new management. What a sad departure from what was one of the best restaurants on the island. Over the course of many many years I always ordered the pasta with Bolognese sauce. Probably the best I have ever had anywhere in the world. A... More

Sit up high on the outdoor deck with table cloths and fine food. The service staff are so gracious and eager to serve and help with suggestions of things to do around the island.

We were regulars at Capische? and wanted to give The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea a try: we were not disappointed. In fact, we found The Restaurant to be excellent: the ambience, food, and wait staff were superb. The new menu was different but equally as good as before. Thank you
The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea is the former Capische, which is now owned by Hotel Wailea and under new chef Zach Sato. Our meal was fabulous! I ordered "dessert" to start, that is a delicious Black Russian cocktail. The pastry chef provided three types of bread: petite fours-size perfect biscuits, apple rye bread (almost could have sworn it was apple... More
