We ate here for lunch and the food and service was so good we came back for crepes that night. Their food selection was vast and most of the menu offered description in English which was nice. The Nutella banana crepe is a must! They also offered free wifi and we were able to watch some NBA playoffs which was... More

I used to go to papillon for breakfast during my 3.5 month stay in Montanita because it was reasonably priced and they had a (gasp! ) espresso machine. The service is -as everywhere else in tne village - at best average but the deco is nice.

Best restaurant so far and we have been to a few! Very friendly service. Professionally run and the kitchen is super clean. Langostinos with mashed potatoes and baked vegetables very good. Highly recommended.

We have eaten here a few times. Very good food and service. Portions are normal and everything is fresh when it comes to seafood. From the sea to your table!

I wasn't too impressed. I got a crepe which they specialize in but it lacked seasoning and was quite soggy. You could smell the "swampy stream" that runs through the north end of town through the back porch. Service was slow. In comparison to the other food options in Montanita, this was quite poor.

Took a long time to serve the food but definitely worth the wait. A little overpriced. Try the Coma Diabetica.

Came here for breakfast a couple times. They have a fairly large crepe selection, both sweet and savory. They also have some other more American type breakfast options which looked pretty yummy. Moderate prices for Ecuador.

I visited this place for both breakfast and dinner. The food is really good. The only drawback I'd give is that the portion sizes for dinner were small. However the quality of food for the price was great. Good breakfast also.

If you're looking for good food at Montañita, this isn't a bad choice. The crepes are pretty good and decent-sized (especially the Coma Diabético). Breakfast food is also quite good and not expensive. Service is a little slow, though. Best part is location: right next to the cocktail alley.
