This restaurant was a big disappointment. It had been a long time since we had beef, and they advertised a "steak" as well as burgers. We were lured by their "specials" to give them a try. The specials turned out to be non existent during the time of day we chose to visit--despite signs everywhere promoting them. Now, I understand... More

The menu and drink prices are for the " tourist high season " - main plates $ 16 – $ 20 cocktails $ 8 Outside of this several week period the marketing strategy is a special of 25 – 50 % off today ! Even at the 50 % of prices the food quality and quantity is average. Restaurant was... More

Our dinner here was perfectly crept able but nothing to write home about. The most me,or able part of the meal was the cocktails. If you're looking for a pleasant space on the main drag to get out of the hustle and relax, and for some reason don't want to go to Tiki Limbo across the street, this is a... More

The restaurant seemed empty compared to the others in the area, they were offering a 20% off deal for that night so we gave it a try. For 3 we had to share the fish and chips appetizer, the fish and chips meal and a bowl of rice. The main dishes are quite expensive $16. The mayonnaise based sauce that... More

High-end place to eat for Montañita. If you're looking for the full gringo treatment, come here . . .if you're looking for an inexpensive beer, something to fill your stomach, and maybe watch a fútbol match, there are about three places withing sight to accomplish that goal. Wonderful furniture . . .

Surprisingly expensive, especially compared to all of the other choices in the area. We had a beer and left. $16 fried shrimp was a bit extreme.

I have been to Montanita many times and by in large La Casa Blanca Restobar is the best option in in town for breakfast if you if want full service. I highly recommend breakfast. I like my coffee STRONG and although the Americano is good ad a shot of expresso and its the best anywhere on the central coast. We... More
