Stopped on my way to hike the Alex Knob trail - needed to eat breakfast and get a sandwich to go. I got a salmon bagel and a ham sandwich from the to-go counter. The bagel was awful, I imagine it must have been quite stale and there was very little salmon on it. And it wasn't cheap either. The... More

We went here for lunch and it was superb, the coffee amazing and the lunch menu has a wide range of options. We had the cheese and beef burger and the mushroom and bacon pasta and it was outstanding and had so much flavour. Would definitely make this your number one stop cafe in the town.

Stopped in for breakfast. Got the ham and cheese sandwich and the bacon egg, cheese & hashbrowns wrap. Both were good as were the flat whites that we had. Good food as expected from a cafe in NZ.

Average cafe in a small town. Not bad, not excellent. Club sandwich was fine but chicken was dry. BLT was nice. Nice outdoor seating and free wifi.

After an 18km hike my mum and I went here and lounged on the sofa for a few hours with a pizza and a burger. Lovely good, really nice waitress full of smiles made it a very enjoyable experience :-)

This restaurant is located on the main street, about halfway up. You go the counter, select your food and drink and pay for it, then receiving a numbered card. Shortly afterwards, the food is brought to your table. Staff are friendly and very efficient - you will not be waiting long! There is an outside seating, when the weather permits.

This cafe is a great place to go for a coffee or a milkshake. I had a milkshake and it was the best thing ever. Also this cafe has great wifi that loads really fast.

Visiting Franz Josef Glacier and dropped into the Full Bean Cafe you wouldn't go wrong with this menu it has plenty on offer, heaps of counter food to eat or takeaway. Had a lovely lunch and the coffee was very good and again real friendly West Coast staff.

The owner need to talk seriously with the staff. The waitresses are so grumpy and totally disrespectful ! We didn't get one smile, the tall blond girl who serve us show clearly to the customers that she doesn't care about them. She wasn't polite at all. It's a shame because the food is really good, and it could be nicer... More

Arrived in Franz Joseph for 2 nights and passed by Full of beans en route for dinner. Prior to FoB, we were underwhelmed by the lack of options available and uninspired by the menus (and prices); however full of beans had a great selection of meals, (and good options for vegetarians!), fab service and super strong wifi. If fact, we... More
