We went there for a quick bite after a long drive. It served some great seafood and bbq food! Some authentic southern food!

The catfish, shrimp and cheese grits are no doubt the way to go. We have had tastless oysters, to a bad smelling steak which caused my son's girlfriend to get nauseated and they would not accommodate her. The menu is limited and does not have a seafood platter, a combo of 2, really. My biggest complaint is the wait. On... More

Visited many times but last night was no better than captain d. Shrimp was over cooked and the baked potato was so cold it wouldn't melt the butter

Get to this place early, because this great lakeside restaurant gets real busy, real quick. The staff were were all wonderful, and we managed to get a cozy table that was perfect. This place serves excellent seafood in generous helpings!

If you like good southern fried catfish & GA/CAR. BB 'Que this is the place. Recommendation by one of the locals was spot-on. Casual dining in a lake front setting, large menu with reasonable prices, great service. No wonder people were gathering in the parking lot, enjoying something cold from the tiki bar, waiting on their pagers to go off.... More

After a miserable day of driving came here on the recommendation of our hotel - we didn't want to face another chain restaurant for dinner. What a nice surprise! A super casual local restaurant with enjoyable views of a lovely lake. We arrived just before 6 on a Friday evening and the sizable parking lot was already starting to fill... More

I asked around about a good place to eat and the folks we were visiting in Macon told us that this would be a great place to eat. Boy were they right! What I liked about this restaurant was that it is favored by the locals. What does that tell me? They have had the opportunity to savor the food... More

My husband and I ate here one evening on our way home from Florida. This is a wonderful, fun place to eat. It was very crowded so we ate at the bar. My husband visited with two of the regulars at the bar, and they had a great time. Jeff, the bartender, was also very friendly. Our food was excellent.... More

Husband & I both had catfish - blacked and grilled. We think the grilled style was better (less oily). Food was really good and we would return.

I LOVE fish and my husband doesn't. He does love a good BBQ so Fish N' Pig is a great place for us to eat. Not to mention I get to share off his plate. :)
