We dined here for my son's 28th birthday and enjoyed the variety of pizzas that were brought around. The pizza was flavorful, right down to the crust. The bruschetta was good. The sampling of pasta was okay. I will have to return another time and try their pasta by ordering it off the menu to truly give it a fair... More

I've dined here 3-4 times already while visiting on business. Of the restaurants I've been to downtown this is my favorite for an intimate, warm setting and great food/service. I always order the salad with goat cheese and nuts as it is a generous size and delicious. Love the vinaigrette dressing it's tossed in. I've ordered both the lasagna and... More

This establishment started as a casual restaurant with pool tables, pasta and a fun endless pizza Sunday. I'm not sure if it's the same owner but it's been transformed into a higher end establishment, no billiards but a nice new bar area. The décor has be revamped and looks great. The view is pretty nice too. The only problem is... More

What an AMAZING FIND. This place is a bit off the beaten path but very conveniently located. Just not amongst all the other eatieries in town. The food is the highest caliber. Relatively inovative but not over the top spendy. All fresh ingredients. The service is top notch. And to top it off, you can actually carry on a conversation... More

We happened to find this eatery on a Sunday night when the menu includes endless pizza tasting (what a variety) and salad with bruschetta and pasta. What a find. The pizzas were delicious, bruschetta tasty and pasta great. Looking forward to returning to experience the normal menu.

margherita pizza - well done. Wine selection was above average, although not stellar. Price was slightly high, but the atmosphere is great and all the food I saw looked well prepared.

My brother and I had a late dinner at Stoneground after attending a football game at the University of Utah. We had individual pizzas and small salads. The pizzas were excellent, cooked just right with the right amount of toppings. The balsamic vinegar added a special flavor note to the meal. Salads were fresh and nicely presented. Even though it... We have eaten at Stoneground 3-4 times, so my rating is based on all of our experience at this downtown Salt Lake City restaurant. The location is great, close to Trax (light rail) and across the street from the City Library, an impressive building with many cultural events and free movies, usually documentaries, on Tuesdays. We hadn't been to Stoneground... More

We returned after hearing that Stoneground had renovated and improved their fare and wow, it is true. The service was exceptional, from the ease of changing tables to the knowledge of each starter and entree - and the decor is cool, dark and comforting. We loved the black tagliatelle with lobster. We were running to a movie so we could... More

We went for Sunday supper and we had a wonderful experience! The pizza was delicious and it was all you can eat for 17. Amazing food and wine!
